No, I am not obsessed with Francisco Lachowski. Or am I? Someone sent me the photo I’ve posted here this morning and I couldn’t resist putting it up. Is there a sexier guy in the world? I don’t think so.
It’s another beautiful day here in west central Florida. The temperature’s in the mid-70s, it’s sunny and a light breeze is blowing. I would take a walk on the beach if I had the time, but my boyfriend and I must pack for our ski trip and we need to clean house, as well. Time to be responsible!
I received a nice comment yesterday from Samuel, a recent college grad who lives in Raleigh-Durham, NC, works for a research firm there. He read my book, Love Quest, and had this to say:
“I didn’t grow up in foster care like Jamie (the main character in Love Quest) but I endured a great deal of abuse as a kid, and also when I first dealt with the gay subculture in my late teens. Coming out wasn’t easy for me. I kept falling in with the wrong people. Reading your book made me realize just how tough life can be for gay teens, and how important it is to be yourself. Because of your book’s erotic content I guess it will never be placed in school library shelves but it should be.”
Thanks for writing, Samuel. I went through some rough times in my youth as well. I guess there’s a little of Jamie Bliss in all gay men, isn’t there?
Okay, I need to get busy, so I’ll wish everyone a happy Sunday. I hope the sun is shining wherever you are.
