shirtless boy deep in thought; it’s Mother’s Day …

Hi, friends and readers:

A few weeks ago I posted a photo of the young man at left. He has a “Tumblr” he posts on daily, with quite a variety of strange photos, videos, and interesting commen-taries on his life and the state of the world. He titles his site It Was A Pleasure To Burn, which I believe was an introductory statement appearing in Bradbury’s sci-fi novel, Farenheit 451.

No, I don’t know this young man’s name. I believe he lives in Washington state. The photo I posted of him was a big hit, so I thought I’d post another. Here’s the link to his “Tumblr”:

I picked up my boyfriend at Tampa International, around eight last night. We had a nice dinner at a seafood place, shared a bottle of Pinot Grigio, then headed for home. We only lasted about an hour before we went to bed; we were both tired.

Today’s Mother’s Day guys. If you live in the same area as your mom, spend some time with her, maybe take her to lunch or dinner. If she lives far from you, at least give her a phone call and tell her how much you love her. That’s an order!

My neighbor and good friend will collaborate with me and my boyfriend to make dinner for my mom and another neighbor who is also a dear friend. We’ll dine outside, with a clear view of the Intracoastal Waterway. It’ll be a nice time, I know.

Enjoy your Sunday, everyone.
