I like playing basketball. It’s a quick-paced game that’ll get you in shape real quick if you play hard. Now, I’m a crappy player. I’m slow and my ball-handling is inept. My shooting’s not too great either. But I like playing just the same.
Now, I’m thinking I’d enjoy a little one-on-one with the young man in today’s photo post. How about you? Does he get your ball bouncing? Aye-yi-yi … What a handsome guy.
I’m up a bit late this morning, a casualty of last night’s Lightning victory over the Boston Bruins. The NHL East championship will be decided in Game 7 at Boston Friday night. My boy, Steven Stamkos, scored a goal last night. The game was a real nail-biter. Afterward, I’m afraid I overdid the celebrating. When will I learn?
Today, my boyfriend and I need to clean our home; it’s kind of grungy. We spent a lot of time on the road during the past six weeks and I’m afraid we’ve neglected things. So, this afternoon, we’ll get out the Pine Sol and Comet, the rags and mops, and we’ll get to work. What fun!
Tonight, we’re attending a concert in downtown St. Petersburg, featuring two metal bands: Pe Hed and Mushroomhead. I’ve never heard their music before, but a friend assures me both bands are “stellar.” So, we’ll put on our black t-shirts and blue jeans and join the tattooed crowd. O-h-h-h, yeah.
Enjoy your Thursday, everyone.
