Lover boys kissing; the island’s packed with beachgoers …

Hi, friends and readers:

Ah, young love. Isn’t it nice seeing two young men show affection to each other? I wish I saw more of it in public places.

It’s been an easy day around here. I wrote this morning. Then we hung out in the air conditioning, reading the newspaper, doing a crossword puzzle, and enjoying each other’s company.

This afternoon, we drove to our island supermarket, to buy food for the party tonight. We’ll share beer, wine and food with our neighbors while the sun sets and the Gulf breeze blows. It’ll be nice.

It’s been moderately busy on this blog today and yesterday. I guess a lot of people are spending the holiday weekend away from home and aren’t doing their usual Internet surfing. That’s fine, but thanks to everyone who stopped by. And thanks to the people who wrote in to say nice things about Adrian’s Scar, my new novel. It feels good to know my hard work gives readers pleasure.

In the past few days some people have written to ask when I might publish another piece of free Martin Delacroix fiction. I know, it’s been a while. And not everyone can afford to buy books. So, I’ll look over my stories already published, and try to find something I can put up on the blog. How’s that?

Okay, everyone:  enjoy your Sunday. Tomorrow’s a holiday, so it’s time to party.
