If you were to ask me, “Martin, who’s the most beautiful man in the world?”, I would say, “My boyfriend, of course. But Francisco Lachowski runs a close second.”
Ah, Francisco: you’re so handsome. How come I never got to rub oil all over your lovely body? And when are you coming to Florida to visit me? We have a spare bedroom, you know.
The holiday weekend is over. Did everyone have a good time? I sure did. Last night was such a good time. I walked into the party with two pounds of cooked and chilled shrimp, and you should have seen the food everyone brought. I thought, “All this food will never be eaten.” But there were probably forty people there, of all ages, and by the time we walked to the beach to watch fireworks, most everything had been devoured. My shrimp disappeared in about ten minutes.
I’m doing the “low carb” thing right now because I gained a bit of weight in Berlin last month, eating all kinds of trash food and not exercising enough. But I ate some great food: deviled eggs, barbequed chicken, a hot dog, black bean salsa, and chicken enchiladas. I drank Beaujolais wine with my meal. What a feast! The fireworks were superb and a couple got engaged while a neighbor played his guitar and sang. I live in such a great place. How’d I get so lucky?
This morning, I took a long walk on the beach, followed by a swim in the Gulf. The beach was nearly deserted, which was nice after all the crowds we had here this weekend. Now I’m back in the house. I’ve showered and shaved and cooked my breakfast. I have a full morning of writing ahead of me, but I’m not sure what I’ll do with my afternoon and evening.
Enjoy your Tuesday, everyone.
