Hi, friends and readers:
I’m back in Florida tonight, after a week long stay in the wilds of northern Wisconsin. It was beautiful up there; I’ll say more about it tomorrow.
Did you miss me, friends and readers? I certainly missed you and all your comments. But even during my absence, I averaged 1,200 visitors per day. Thanks to everyone who stopped by.
Does everybody like this evening’s photo post? Some guys look so hot in boardshorts, don’t they? But what happened to the young man’s wrist? Did he sprain it skateboarding? Who knows? But he sure would be welcome at my place, ace bandage and all. I like his hair, don’t you?
My boyfriend left me at Minneapolis’ airport around noon today. My flight took about three hours. I attended a close friend’s birthday celebration tonight, here on the island. Now I’m home and feeling pretty tired. I sure miss my boyfriend, but it’s okay. I have a lot of work to do in the days ahead, and he’s due in Florida for a week, on August 29.
I didn’t do any writing while I was in Wisconsin. I think it’s important to take a break, once in a while, to clear my head. But now I’m back home and it’s time to get busy. I need to work on edits on my upcoming book, Convict Ass, and my short story, Boy From Willow Creek.
I also found out my latest publication, Flawed Boys, is now available on the Amazon and All Romance e-Books websites. While I hope most of you will buy my work through my publishers’ own websites, I know some readers prefer the convenience of the larger distributors. So far, Flawed Boys is doing well, and I know sales will jump, now that it’s available through the big guys.
Tomorrow, I’ll be up early, for a walk on the beach and a swim in the Gulf. Outside, it’s not too bad. Yeah, it’s warm and humid, but a stiff breeze is blowing from the east coast, and it’s kind of pleasant out there. Maybe I’ll have a drink on my back porch before turning in.
I received a huge number of comments from readers while I was absent form Florida. Most of them addressed my recent books and stories. I heard from skateboarders, surfers, wrestlers and BMXers, among others. Give me time, guys; I’ll get back to you.
I hope everyone’s having a nice Thursday evening. Again, hans to eveyrone who kept stopping by while I was gone.
