Sweaty, shirtless beauty; perfect morning on the island …

Hi, friends and readers:

Some guys should never wear a shirt. Take the young man at left for example. Why should he ever conceal his beautiful physique? And could anyone else look better than him while sweating?

Actually, I posted another photo of this young man before, but it’s been so long I can’t remember when it was. The previous photo was taken at the same shoot. I don’t know who the model or the photographer were (sorry) but I wish I’d attended the shoot. Aye-yi-yi.

No, I didn’t end up in jail last night. I drank a bit too much at the concert, but otherwise I was well-behaved. Three bands played. I can’t remember the name of the first. The second was called “Super Suckers”, a great guitar band from Texas (I don’t get the name). The headliner group was Reverend Horton Heat, also from Texas, and quite good. Just one guitar, a stand-up bass, and drums. The whole thing lasted about four hours, a great deal for $20.

It’s a perfect fall day, here on the island. The sun’s shining, it’s about 70 degrees F, and a light breeze is blowing. Mid-day, I’ll take a 16-mile bike ride for my daily exercise. This evening, our island community is celebrating its 100-year anniversary with a street festival and a live band, just a few blocks from my house. It should be fun.

Right now, I have much to do: writing, yard work, and a trip onto my roof to find a leak (great). So, I’m going to wish everyone a wonderful Saturday, wherever you may be.
