Have you ever attended a water polo match? I never have, but the more I see of the players, the more I think I should become a fan. (Though I can’t say I find those goofy head gears attractive.)
I’m up early this morning. I’ve already taken my 1-1/2 mile walk on the beach. It was beautiful down there — about 70 degrees F, sunny, dry and still. Several people walked the shore in search of sea shells. Pelicans dive-bombed pods of fish, and way off in the distance I saw a huge freighter entering the Tampa Bay channel, probably headed to pick up a load of phosphate. My stroll was a great way to start the day.
I’m home now. I’ve just finished breakfast, and I have much to do. I’ll spend the morning working on revisions to my upcoming novel, Convict Ass, due out next month.
This afternoon, my boyfriend and I will visit the YMCA for weight-lifting, basketball, and lap-swimming. Afterward, he’s off to work and I’ll return to the island, but I won’t be here long. I have a dinner date with my Wednesday evening buds in the city.
I’m sorry this is such a short post, but I must get busy. Wherever you are this morning, I hope the sun is shining and you’re having a nice Wednesday.
