Is there any other item of apparel that flatters a young man’s physique better than the simple Speedo? U-m-m, no. The suit shows off the package in front quite nicely, his rear end, as well.
Which guy in today’s photo post do you like better? It’s a tough choice, isn’t it?
It’s been a busy day here: cycling, editing Convict Ass, and cleaning the house. Now, it’s time to relax and enjoy this beautiful Florida evening. In about an hour we’ll drive a few miles north on the island, to our friend’s place on the Intracoastal Waterway. He’ll serve dinner and we’ll plan our camping trip. Then the four of us will play another Scrabble-to-the-death match. Our opponents are formidable — they win more than we do — but maybe we’ll triumph tonight.
A person who’s new to this blog wrote me yesterday. He said, “I’ve read most all of your postings on your blog from the past year. You seem to lead the life we’d all like to lead. How did you get so lucky? What’s your secret?”
H-m-m-m. That’s a tough one to answer. I’ve always worked hard, since I was twelve and started my own lawn-mowing business. I respected the value of education; I earned a law degree from FSU and practiced 25 years. I’ve never been handed a thing, and that’s okay.
I think the reason I have enjoyed such a great life is because I have always treated people the way I like to be treated. It’s called “The Golden Rule”, friends. I follow The Rule as best I can, and it has always worked for me. I’m not perfect. I have not set foot in a church (except for funerals or weddings) in many years, and I don’t plan to in the future. The Rule works fine for me, thank you.
Okay: sermon over.
I need to get my things together; it’s time to let loose. Have a great Thursday night, everyone.
