Have a look at this morning’s photo post. It brings back memories of my college days, at University of Florida, where I shared a dorm room, then a room at my fraternity house, with various guys. A couple were pretty hot, and sometimes they’d stroll around naked in our room. I never missed a chance to steal a glance or two. It’s like free entertainment. Ah, college life: books, beer, bunk beds, and boners ….
I’m up reasonably early this morning. I took a 1-1/2 mile walk on the beach, and I can honestly say it’s the prettiest day I can remember. The sun’s shining, there’s a light breeze coming off the Intracoastal Waterway, and the Gulf is calm. The temperature’s around 75 degrees F. Seabirds were everywhere, all different kinds: sea gulls, pelicans, sandwich terns, and gray herons. This island’s a paradise, and I’m lucky to live here.
I’ll work on my novel, Dodging a Pearl, this morning. Then my boyfriend and I will visit the YMCA for our usual workout and lap-swimming. He’s working this evening, so I’m not sure what I’ll be up to. Last night, we watched a Netflix rental called The Company Men. It’s about corporate downsizing, following the 2007-2008 economic meltdown, and how it affected lives of so many families. We both enjoyed it, so you may want to give it a try. I’m not a Ben Affleck fan, but he did a great job in this film.
Have a nice Monday, everyone.
