Were you ever a Boy Scout? I never was, didn’t have an interest. But I understand it’s not all about tying knots and rubbing two sticks together to start a fire. It looks like the young man in today’s photo post is starting his own … conflagration.
I’m up early, with a busy day ahead of me. Once I finish this post, I’ll jump in the shower, then shave. I’ll drive 70 miles to visit a loved on in a rehab facility. I’ll take her too lunch and then I’ll drive back to my little island. Hopefully, I’ll have time for a bike ride before I head into the city for a dinner party this evening.
I’ve just returned from a two-mile walk on the beach. It’s nice out, despite overcast skies. There’s no wind and the temperature’s around 70 degrees F. I didn’t even wear a sweatshirt on my walk. How’s that for January?
By the way, I’ve restored most all of my posts from mid-August 2011, forward, in case you want to look them over. In coming weeks, I’ll keep restoring more. It’s tedious, but also interesting to review old posts. So much has happened since August ….
Have a nice Saturday, everyone.
