Does everyone like this morning’s photo post? I sure do. Of course, the young man’s handsome and I like the look on his face. He’s clearly troubled about something. An argument with his boyfriend, perhaps? But what makes the photo, in my opinion, is the snow. See, we don’t have snow in Florida, ever. Whenever I travel to a place with snow, I’m enthralled and invigorated by it.
I know, I know … if I had to shovel the damned stuff every day during winter, I might have a different feeling about snow. Still ….
Is it cold where you live? It’s not cold in Florida today. I just returned form my two-mile walk on the beach. It’s a little chilly down there; I wore a sweater and jacket, and my track pants, to stay warm. But the sun is shining and the Gulf is calm. There’s a breeze coming out of the east I hope will die during midday, so I can enjoy a pleasant bike ride this afternoon.
In the meantime, I have much to do. I’m submitting a short novel to a published I have not worked with before, and I must re-format the book to their standards before submitting. I have edits on my novel, Dodging a Pearl. And loved ones are visiting in the early afternoon. I have no evening plans, but I’ll stay busy with my writing.
Wherever you are, I hope you’re staying warm and happy. If there’s snow in your yard, go outside and toss a snowball for Martin, okay? Have a nice Tuesday, friends.
