Okay, I’m a sucker for dark hair and brown eyes; it’s a preference. But I must admit the young man in tonight’s photo post is pretty special. You could drown in his gaze, couldn’t you?
Why is he chewing that pillowcase, or is that his shirt hem? Who knows? Who cares? The look in his eyes is … entrancing.
It’s been a nice evening. My boyfriend’s parents arrived from Minnesota on time. We spent a nice afternoon, walking our neighborhood, here on the island. We visited the shore for sunset. Then I prepared baked ziti, garlic bread and salad for dinner. We shared a good bottle of Chianti while we dined. Now, they’re sleeping next door and we’re having a drink before going to bed.
It’s so nice on the island tonight. The temperature’s around 70 degrees F. It’s dry and still here — perfect for sleeping. We have a busy day planned for tomorrow, so I’ll keep this post short.
Before I close, I want to say something. If you are a gay man, don’t make the mistake of leaving your family out of your life. I know, it’s easy to keep your private life separate from your family life, but that’s a mistake. Give your family a chance. You may be pleasantly surprised to find they like your boyfriend and the life you share with him. They might even be envious. It’s true.
Have a nice Wednesday night, my friends.
