Cute boy in multicolored briefs; nice Wednesday on the island …

Hi, friends and readers:

Do you like this morning’s photo post? He’s a cutie, isn’t he? And I like his multicolored briefs. Are those dinosaur undies?

This young man has posted several other photos of himself, one which I posted on my old blog before the blog was murdered by WordPress. The photo was one of my readers’ favorites, but I’ve been unable to relocate the old photo. You’ll have to be satisfied with this one for now.

***Update 7/9/2012: If you’d like to see more of him, you can do so here:  You looked, didn’t you? Aye-yi-yi …

I’m fresh from my morning walk on the beach. Again, today’s weather is superb: 70 degrees F, sunny and still. The Gulf is calm and seabirds are everywhere — egrets, herons, gulls and terns. My island is so beautiful. I’m lucky to live here.

This morning, I’ll work on my novel, Dodging a Pearl.  I’m finally approaching the end of the book’s rewrite. It’s been a daunting task. I’ve been working on this project — on and off — for seven months. The book’s 110,000 words in length. When it’s published, that means it’ll be nearly 400 pages long, the lengthiest book I have ever written. It’s an intriguing story, with a large cast of characters.

This afternoon, my boyfriend and I will visit the YMCA for our usual workout and lap-swimming. He’s working this evening, while I’m hosting a gathering of my Wednesday night buds. We’ll have a few drinks at my place, watch sunset, and then visit a restaurant on the island for dinner. It’ll be fun.

Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.
