Cute blond boy with i-Pod; site visits soaring …

Hi, friends and readers:

Does everyone like this morning’s photo post? I posted this boys picture once before, on my old blog, before the blog was “executed” by WordPress. People loved the photo, and why not? He’s cute, isn’t he? I wonder where he lives and what his name is? Michael from San Diego, maybe? Anyway, I came across the photo recently, on someone’s blog, and I knew you’d all like seeing it again. Enjoy …

Speaking of my old blog …. When the blog was “deactivated”, without warning, I was able to retrieve my old posts, but not the photos that accompanied them. It took me two weeks, just to get this new website up and running. Daily visits to my old blog averaged 1,500-2,000. When this website went online, my daily visits averaged 150, for the longest time. That’s right, I lost 90% of my followers.

Now, it seems, people are coming back. It’s been slow-going, but I have reconstructed about 85% of my old posts, with the photos that originally accompanied them. That’s about 1,700 posts. Each week since December 2011, the number of daily visitors has increased.

Now, when you Google “Martin Delacroix” this site is the first “result” you’ll see. Daily visits are now averaging 650. That’s a far cry from 1,500-2,000, but we’ll get there soon enough. Thanks to everyone who has stuck with me during this difficult time. I hope you continue to enjoy this site’s content as much as you did the old blog’s.

To express my appreciation for your loyalty, I’m posting a collage of today’s blond cutie, for your additional enjoyment. I don’t know who created the collage, but someone clearly likes Mr. i-Pod as much as I do. I wonder where the photos were taken? A skatepark, maybe?

It’s another beautiful winter day, here on the island. I walked two miles on the beach at eight AM. The air temperature’s around 74 degrees F. The sun is shining and there is no wind blowing. That’s perfect for my cycling tour I’ll do this afternoon.

My gathering last night turned out great. Two friends came, then my boyfriend got off work early, so he was able to join us for dinner at a nice Mexican restaurant, here on the island. We shared a pitcher of Maragaritas and guacamole dip with chips. My meal was simply tacos with ground beef. They were delicious.

My boyfriend’s working again tonight. I don’t know what I’ll do with my evening, but I have much work to do, so I’ll stay busy. Have a nice Thursday, everyone.
