I like watching a young man lose his shirt, don’t you? Especially when his physique’s as hot as the guy in tonight’s post. Are his pants next? Then those Calvins? I’d stick around to find out, wouldn’t you?
It’s been a quiet day around here. My boyfriend’s nursing a hangover, after a night of clubbing with co-workers on Saturday. I read the newspaper, and wrote part of a new scene for my novella, Capable of Evil. The publisher wants the book lengthened to about 20,000 words, which is no problem for me. The story mostly takes place in Polk County, FL, but the scene I’m writing now takes place a little farther south, in De Soto County. This requires research on Arcadia, the De Soto County seat, a town of about 7,000 people.
It’s amazing how much information, and how many images, one can find on the Internet, concerning such a small town. The Web is definitely a fiction writer’s friends. I always want to be sure I’m describing a town architecture accurately. Call me picky, but it’s the way I am.
Okay, it’s time to watch the UNC/Kansas game in the NCAA tournament. We’re staying home tonight, to watch the game and dine by ourselves. Have a nice Sunday evening, all.
