Naked boy with candles; nice golf outing for Martin …

Hi, friends and readers:

How has your Tuesday been? Mine’s been great, but then I didn’t go to work. Do you like this evening’s photo post. I’m not sure I understand the placement of candles on playing cards. Is the young man conducting a seance? If so, who’s he trying to contact? A deceased boyfriend?

We didn’t get to surf today — no waves — but we did play a great round of golf at the city’s waterfront course. The weather was perfect, about 80 degrees, with a steady breeze and low humidity. I barely broke a sweat. Of course, my golfing skills are dreadful, but I had a great time, as did my boyfriend. The course teamed us with a nice couple from New Jersey; we all got along well.

Now, we’re back at the hotel, getting ready to visit a favorite dining spot in Cocoa Beach: Taco City. Its a very casual Mexican place, frequented by locals of all stripes. The food’s good and the beer’s cold. I actually wrote a scene in my story, Sebastian Inlet, that takes place in Taco City. The story appears in a Cleis Press anthology titled Surfer Boys. Check it out here:

Okay, it’s my turn in the shower, so I’ll sign off. Have great Tuesday night, friends.
