Two black and white beauties; another nice day in Gainesville ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I know not everyone’s a fan of black and white photography, but I am, and I thought I’d share a couple of nice specimens with you today.

The photo at left was immensely popular on my old blog. (Look at those abs. Aye-yi-yi.) But when my blog was murdered last December, I lost the photo. I just came across it again, and knew I needed to share it again. I like the expression on the young man’s face, don’t you?

I’m still in Gainesville, enjoying my boyfriend’s company and the university’s campus’ ambiance. I certainly enjoy my morning walks past the old brick buildings and the towering oaks. In the center of campus, there’s no vehicular traffic allowed, so it’s pretty quiet there, a great place for observing and thinking.

The weather this afternoon is warm and overcast, not too enticing for a bike ride, so I think I may take another walk instead, this time through my boyfriend’s neighborhood.

I’m in the middle of edits on my upcoming novel, Capable of Evil, which is not a traditional Martin Delacroix story at all. Okay, my characters are always a bit edgy or weird, but the main characters in Capable of Evil, Alton McKinney and Randall, are truly screwed up. They share a bizarre type of romance few people would understand, but one I think readers will find intriguing.

My boyfriend, of course, is at work. When he gets home tonight, I think we’ll throw burgers on the charcoal grille and make ourselves a tasty meal. We have beer, wine, and a well-stocked booze cabinet, so thing’s will be relaxed and easy, just the way we like them.

Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.
