I’m not a huge fan of “I-took-this-picture-of-myself-in-the-mirror” photos, but occasionally I’ll come across a few I like, and I thought I would share two of those with you this morning.
Which guy do you like better?
I’ve already ranted about the Daylight Savings Time change we are now enduring. But, really, it such a pain in the butt. I woke up this morning at five AM. I mean, I was wide awake. There was no way I could go back to sleep, but outside things were dark as tar.
So, I did another crossword puzzle. I did a little reading. Then, when the sky began to lighten, I slipped into my clothes and took a three-mile walk on the beach. Hardly anyone was down there. The sky was cloudy, the air cool and still. I really enjoyed myself down there but, of course, the Gulf is too cold for swimming now.
I have a busy day ahead. Tomorrow, after I vote, I will drive to Gainesville to spend a few days with my beautiful boyfriend. It’s been about ten days since I’ve seen him, and I miss him very much. Of course, he’ll be working during the day while I am there, but we’ll have our evenings together, and that’s enough to satisfy me. While he’s working, I’ll write and take care of correspondence.
This afternoon, if traffic allows, I will leave the island and visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. Then I need to prepare for my departure tomorrow: packing my bag, watering houseplants, etc. I don’t want to be rushed tomorrow, and I won’t be if I get most everything done today.
Listen: five thousand people visited this website yesterday, making it one of the busiest traffic days in the past two weeks. Thanks to all who stopped by, and I hope everyone’s having a marvelous Monday, wherever you may be.
