I’m just back from my three-mile beach walk. It’s dead calm at the shore today, which means it should also be fairly calm on the Atlantic coast as well.
I just called a surf shop in Brevard County; they told me conditions today and tomorrow should be good. So, in two hours I’ll hit the road and cross the state with my surfboard. I’ll surf this afternoon and again tomorrow morning. This will be a quick trip, but that’s okay.
Fall is always a nice time of year in central Florida. Of course, I’ll have to wear my wetsuit; the Atlantic’s already a bit chilly these days. But that’s okay, the wetsuit keeps me warm as toast. I’ll post again from Cocoa Beach tonight.
Have a nice Thursday, friends.
