Lover boys in black and white; Martin survived the road trip.

Hi, friends and readers:

As promised this morning, I am posting more “lover boys” photos for your enjoyment. I particularly like these two because they are black and white photos, and because I think they capture the love each pair of young men feel for each other. Do you like them as much as I do?

I’m home after another nerve-jangling drive, 70 miles inland, to visit a loved one in an ALF. We had a nice lunch together, and visited for a while. Then I headed home.

My round-trip today was 140 miles total, but it took three hours because of the insane traffic in Tampa, and on I-4, a road running between Tampa and Orlando.

I’ve never seen a cop on I-4; everyone knows the Highway Patrol ignores the road entirely. So, people drive like maniacs, even the transfer truck drivers. They drive 25 miles per hour over the speed limit. They tailgate and swerve. The traffic is always thick, and there are always wrecks. Combine that with the snail’s pace of traffic on I-275 in Tampa, and you have a frustrating driving experience, every time, without fail.

Okay, enough bitching. I’m home in one piece and it’s a pretty night on the island: cool, breezy and quiet. I think we’ll have a full moon tonight, which should be spectacular. Have a nice Thursday night, everyone.
