Response to this morning’s “twink photos” has been quite positive, so I’ll continue posing more throughout the weekend.
It’s been a great day. After we shared a nice lunch, we visited Home Depot to buy a nice Fraser Fir Christmas tree. Now, it’s standing in our living room, ready to be trimmed. I have already tested the light’s and they are all working, a minor miracle. I also completed all our Christmas cards. They are signed and sealed and ready for the Postal Service. I’ll take them by Monday, after the gym.
The best part about today, beside my boyfriend’s presence, was the weather. Around two PM, we took an hour-long walk on the beach. The sun shone and a light breeze blew. The temperature was in the high 70s, just perfect. We talked of many things while we strolled, and the sun felt so good on our shoulders. This is definitely the time of year to be in Florida.
So, tonight’s all about tree-trimming and a nice dinner, with a few nice bottles of wine, both red and white. We’ll put on some hokey Christmas music and our Santa hats, and then we’ll make Christmas merriment. I love this time of year, don’t you?
