I think it was comedian Richard Pryor who once said this:
“I grew up really poor. It’s a good thing I was born male, or I’d have had nothing to play with on Christmas mornings. Know what I mean?”
Look, self-stimulation is healthy; there’s nothing wrong with it. Your equipment is there for a reason, so why not put it to work? If someone complains, well, they are the one with the problem, not you.
I woke super-early this morning, around 6:30. I waited to get out of bed until the sun rose around 7:00. Then I took my morning walk on the beach. Conditions were stellar. The air was cool and dry. No breeze blew. The Gulf was calm and the beach was very wide, which makes for good walking when barefoot, like I always am.
This will be a typical Monday for me: a workout and lap-swimming at the YMCA followed by a visit to the driving range and a trip to the supermarket. Nothing too exciting, but that’s okay.
My first seasonal guests in my rental apartment next door have arrived; They’re really nice folks from Ohio, and they love visiting our little island each winter.
I’m not sure what I’ll do with my evening today, but I’ll certainly watch sunset with my neighbors, and maybe watch a Netflix rental, War Horse. Has anyone seen the movie? Is it any good?
Thanks to everyone who stopped by this site this past weekend. I had 15,000 visitors between Friday and Sunday. Not bad, eh? Have a nice Monday, friends.
