I’ve never lived on a farm, nor have I ever lived in “farm country.” I’m an urban guy, you might say, destined to live on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Still, I always thought it might be fun to shed my shirt on a sunny day, then run through a wheat field, maybe with my boyfriend.
Have a look at this morning’s photo posts. Would you like to join one of these farm boys for a run through a wheat field? Ummm, of course you would. Just imagine: afterward, you could visit the hay loft in the barn, for other interesting activities.
Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?
It’s a quiet day, here on the island, with overcast skies and dampness in the air. I took my usual three-mile walk at the Gulf shore this morning, saw two bottle-nose dolphins cruising along, looking so graceful. Not many people were at the beach, I guess the lack of sunshine kept them away.
Not a bad way to spend a weekday afternoon, eh? I know, I’m the luckiest guy in the world. Wherever you are, and whatever you’re doing, I hope you’re enjoying your Wednesday. If not, then go find yourself a wheat field to run through shirtless. You’ll feel better, I’m sure.
