I’m not sure why, but the sport of volleyball tends to attract gay men to it like honey attracts bears. Our local gay resort, now closed, used to have a sand volleyball court, and it always stayed busy on weekends. I remember taking a class in volleyball at my university, to earn a P. E. credit, and I really enjoyed it. I remember my coach hollering, “Fingertips, Martin, use your fingertips.”
In my blogroll, you’ll find a link to the North American Gay Volleyball Association. Go ahead, pay them a visit. Maybe you’ll meet some guys like the ones appearing in today’s photo posts. In my opinion, the game should always be played shirtless. Wouldn’t you agree?
Today is a special day for me and my boyfriend; it’s our Third Anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been three years. He’s a wonderful guy, and I am so lucky to have him in my life. Tonight, we will stay in a really nice hotel on Tampa Bay. We’ll dine in their chic-chic restaurant, and share a nice bottle of wine. Doesn’t that sound like fun?
I have other good news: my boyfriend’s transferring back to the Bay Area from Gainesville. Tomorrow, we’ll drive up there to retrieve some of his belongings he’ll need for work next week, so we’ll spend Saturday night in Gainesville, at his apartment. He’s lived in Gainesville for the past six months, and it hasn’t been easy for either of us. It’ll be so nice, sharing a home with him again.
Have a nice Friday, everyone.
