Why do some guys look so good wearing a beanie? I really can’t say. Maybe a beanie lends a guy an air of secretiveness, like he’s partially concealing his identity? Who knows? Anyway, I like the guys in both photos I have posted here this morning. I’d go on a date with either. Wouldn’t you?
It’s a gloomy morning, here on the island. A light breeze is blowing, and the humidity’s quite high. I’m afraid summer has already arrived, even though it’s officially seven weeks away.
In a few minutes, I’ll show my rental unit to someone who may take it for the entire summer, an unexpected windfall to me, since most people don’t like staying in Florida during summer; it’s just too hot. But hey, I guess the heat doesn’t bother everyone the way it does me.
Our Black Crowes concert last night, and our dinner out beforehand, was an unquali-fied success. Our meal was more than tasty, and the Crowes put on a spectacular show. No warm-up band, just two hours of nonstop music. Chris Robinson’s voice, which has always been stellar, has only improved with age. The guy has an unbelievable set of lungs.
The crowd last night filled about 85% of the concert hall, pretty amazing for a Tuesday night. People had a ball, and so did the band. They played two encore numbers, a rarity for The Crowes. In all, the concert was well worth the money and time we invested in attending.
Today’s a typical Wednesday for us. After lunch, we’ll visit the YMCA for our usual workout and lap-swimming. Then we’ll hit take a golf lesson from our golf guru, Jeff. I’m not sure what’s in store for this evening, perhaps a post-dinner visit to the hot tub at our timeshare facility down the street.
Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.
