There’s an old saying: “No guy over thirty should wear his ball cap backward, unless he’s giving another guy head.”
I tend to agree. This is a young man’s style; it looks pretty silly on a guy my age. So I keep the bill on my cap straight forward when I wear one. But I think the guys in today’s photo posts look pretty sexy in their backward ball caps, don’t you?
I rose very early this morning, around 6:00 AM, to take my morning walk on the beach. A steady breeze blew form the east, keeping things cool, and I even wore a long-sleeve t-shirt to be sure I didn’t feel chilly. Hardly anyone was at the beach; it was nice, and so was my dip in the Gulf afterward. When I got home, I showered on our patio (always a delight) and then, after a quick breakfast, I worked three hours on revisions to my lengthy novel. This is going to be a major project.
In a few minutes, I will drive my boyfriend to Tampa airport. He’s flying up to Washington, DC to visit his dad for several days, so I will be on my own for a while. It’s okay, the solitude will help me get my work done, and I have a few projects that need done in the house and in the yard.
Once I leave the airport, I’ll visit the golf course for more practice. At this time of year, hardly anyone is there during the mid-afternoon, so it’s a perfect time to practice by swing, my pitching, and putting. I’ll master the game, you’ll see.
Okay, everyone, wherever you are, I hope the sun is shining, and I hope you’re having a good Wednesday.
