If you follow this website, then you know I live on a barrier island on the Gulf of Mexico, west of St. Petersburg, FL. Summer is here, of course, and our beach is populated by young men out of school for the summer, with little to do but roam the sand in their boardshorts, looking sleek and oh-so-handsome. I remember my summers home from college. Of course, I always found some kind of job to work, but I still had plenty of free tme to spend at the beach. A-h-h-h, the good old days.
Have a look at the guy to the left. Pretty hot, eh? How come young men in the U.S. refuse to wear Speedos like the guys do in Europe? Why are young men in this country so modest? Nothing flatters a young man’s body like a Speedo. But alas, one rarely sees them on my island.
I slept in late this morning. I think yesterday’s round of golf, in 91-degree heat and high humidity, really zapped my energy. It’s okay, I needed the rest. Tonight, I’m attending a Tampa Bay Rays baseball game with a friend I’ve known since I was a teenager. The Rays are playing the Boston Red Sox; it should be a good game. If only the beer wasn’t so expensive ….
All right, everyone, I need to get busy on my work-in-progress; I’m already behind schedule, so I will wish everyone a happy Tuesday, wherever you might be.
