At this time of year in west central Florida, the weather is consistent most every day. At four AM, the temperature is around 75 degrees F.Then it steadily climbs until it reaches 92 degrees F around two PM. The humidity’s constant, about 90%, and there isn’t much of a breeze most days. In other words, conditions outdoors are miserable, unless you have access to a swimming pool. A nice dip in eighty-two degree water will keep you cool on the warmest of days. It’s a great way to relax, and sometimes the sights you’ll see are stellar.
Now, we don’t have a pool at our home; we don’t have room for one. So we own a timeshare unit at a condo about a mile down the street, where we can use the pool and hot tub any time we choose too. The association keeps the facility spotlessly clean and the pool water sparkles. In fact, I may go down there tonight, after I finish cleaning up the kitchen. I never know who’ll be down there, which makes things . . . interesting.
Have a nice Friday, everyone.
