This morning, I woke at seven AM. I intended to take my usual three-mile walk on the beach, but then my boyfriend asked me to snuggle a while with him, and it felt so nice. Our bed is so comfor-table, and the room was cool and quiet. How could I resist? Next thing I knew the time was eight-thirty and I still hadn’t climbed out of bed. Well, that’s okay, after yesterday’s nonstop activities, which involved a lot of outdoors activities and a lot of beer, we both needed to take it easy.
I did manage to work two hours on my novel, a mammoth project that will take months to complete. I cleaned up the kitchen from last night’s revelries, and even solved a difficult crossword puzzle with my boyfriend. Now, it’s time for lunch, and then we’ll visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. My boyfriend’s working tonight, so I’m left to my own devices, and I’m not sure what I’ll do. I have a Netflix rental to watch, a film titled Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead. I hear it’s good, so I think being lazy and watching the movie’s a good choice.
Have a nice Friday, everyone. And if you have a boyfriend, be sure to give him a smooch and a hug; it’s important.
