In praise of slender guys; busy day ahead for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

When I was a young man I was quite slender. When I left home for college I was 6’2″ and only weighed 155 pounds. I thought I was too skinny, but looking back I really wasn’t. Anyway, by the end of my sophomore year I had gained fifteen pounds and thought I looked a lot better.

Some people might think the guys in today’s photo posts are too skinny, but I don’t think so. And I especially like the rear end on the guy in the upper photo. Isn’t he beautiful. I wonder what he was thinking about when the photo was taken? Maybe he was trying to decide what buy his boyfriend for his birthday. 🙂

When I got home from having dinner with my ex-partner, I sat on my front porch for a while, listening to thunder rumble in the distance. Then I went to bed, but could not fall asleep. I ended up reading for over two hours before I finally got to sleep. Then I ended up sleeping this morning until 9:30 AM, which threw my entire day out of whack. No beach walk and no time for writing fresh material. I just made breakfast and sat down to write this post.

I have a busy day ahead of me. Tomorrow around one PM my ex-partner and I will pack up the Element,, and then we’ll drive 80 miles northward to a marina where we keep our boat. We’ll load up the boat, and then go six miles down river to our fishing camp, where we’ll spend the weekend together. We’ll go scalloping on Saturday, and also do some fishing. It should be fun.

My ex-b/f will leave camp on Sunday, but I’ll be staying until Tuesday, to spend time with others on the island where the camp is located.

Anyway, I’ll spend the better part of the day getting us ready for the trip. I need to buy groceries, pack clothing and toiletries, and also pack up our food and drink. The camp is in a remote area, so you can’t just run down to the corner store for item you need.

I’ll take a two-mile run around four PM. Then tonight I’ll have dinner in the city with one of my oldest friends. We’ll drink a few beers and tell a few stories, and then we’ll get some takeout for our dinner. It’s always fun.

Have a nice Thursday, friends.
