Sexy guys in A-shirts; stormy day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

It takes a special guy to look good in an A-shirt. He needs a lean body, broad shoulders, and nice arm muscles, like the guy to the left here. Pretty hot, eh?

I woke this morning to the sound of wind howling and rain furiously pounding my roof. It seems a tropical storm formed rather quickly, out in the Gulf early this morning, and then it roared ashore right after daybreak. I got up for a little while to watch all the commotion, and then I went back to bed and slept until nine AM.

I wasn’t sure whether I should try going to the YMCA this afternoon, as our access road is under construction, and when we have heavy rains sometimes the road washes out and becomes impassable. But I went ahead and chanced it and I got through fine.

Now, this boy to the left here doesn’t have the muscularity of the guy in the upper photo, but he still makes that A-shirt look pretty darned good. It’s a nice photo, too.

I had an excellent workout at the YMCA, but I wasn’t able to swim laps because the pool was to crowded, which is typical during the summer months. 🙁 I can’t wait for school to start again so the kiddies aren’t  in the pool all the time.

Anyway, I am home from the YMCA and the skies are still boiling with rain crowds. Wind is blowing, so I don’t think taking a beach walk would be a wise move at the moment. I guess I’ll stay inside and work on a writing project.

All right, everyone, I need to get busy so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Monday, wherever you might be today.

Sexy guys in backward ball caps; gloomy afternoon on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I’m not sure why some guys look so  good when they wear their ball caps backward. I guess it gives them an air of irreverence. Whatever it is, I sure like the way the guys in today’s photos posts look, especially Mr. Surfboards to the left here. Hot stuff … 😉

I woke around nine this morning. Rain had fallen earlier and the sky was overcast. A steady wind blew from the Gulf, and I knew today would not be suitable for any outdoor activities. I spent my morning writing new material for my novel-in-progress, and then I had some lunch.

After lunch I ran a few errands–just nuisance stuff really–but it felt good to get out of the house. Traffic wasn’t too bad because all the tourists were holed up in their hotel rooms, I guess.

Hey, check out Mr. Sunglasses & Tattoo to the left here. What am amazing body, just…beautiful.

I spent some time do cleaning at my vacation rental apartment next door, taking advantage of the cool and rainy weather. Then I came back to my place and edited the new material I wrote this morning.

Now it’s four PM and I think I will crack open a cold beer. I’ll turn on my CD player and listen to some tunes. It’s too windy to go up on my observation deck, and I just hurt thunder rumble, so I’ll stay inside.

Have a nice Sunday, everyone, wherever you might be.

Hot boys and their cameras; easy Saturday for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Most selfies are uninspiring. I don’t really see want to see what sort of things a guy keeps on his bathroom vanity. But sometimes I come across a few selfies I find very inspiring, like the two I have posted here this evening.

I mean, have a look at Mr. Gray Sweatpants to the left here. Great body. Nice skin and hair. Just the right amount of muscle. Imagine loosening the drawstring on those sweatpants and watching them drop to his ankles. Yummy …. 😉

I’m posting late today, for no particular reason. I actually had a nice day, even though I spent it alone. I worked on a writing project this morning, and then around eleven AM I took a three mile walk on the beach. It was really nice down there because a steady 10 MPH breeze blew form the west, keeping things comfortable. I didn’t even break a sweat during the walk.

After my walk I took a swim in the Gulf. There were sizable waves rolling in, so I could actually body surf. The water was clear and warm, and the shore was crowded with kids using boogie boards.

Do you like the photo to the left here as much as I do? He’s a handsome lad with a lean body. But he needs to peel that label off the bill of his ball cap. 🙂 I’m guessing he’s Felipe from Chicago. He’s trying to seducer a neighbor girl with his selfie, but she foolishly won’t take the bait, leaving Felipe with no choice but to meet up with his friend Enrique. Have fun guys!

I’m going to share takeout pizza with my good friend and neighbor, and then we’re going to watch a Netflix rental. I think we’ll go for a swim in our neighbor’s pool, too. Anyway, it’ll be a relaxing evening. Have a great Saturday night, friends.

Baring their butts in nature; easy Friday in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

You know how it is. You take a young man on a camping trip to a remote area and the next thing you know, off come the clothes. I’m not sure why that is, but it’s true. The guys in today’s photo posts certainly seem to be enjoying the fresh air, don’t they?

Let’s see …. Lats night I spent the evening with one of my oldest and best friends. We dined on Thai takeout, which was very tasty. We drank a few beers and had a few laughs, a great way to spend time. I got home around 9:30 PM, drank a glass of wine on my front porch, and then went to bed to read for a little while before I fell asleep.

I ended up sleeping until nine this morning, so I skipped my beach walk and got to work on a writing project instead. I worked on that until around 11:30, and then I did the LA Times crossword puzzle, which was terribly difficult.

Now it’s close to noon and I am ready for some lunch. I’ll have something simple and quick while I peruse the newspaper, and then I’ll drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout. I can’t swim laps on Fridays this summer because the kiddies are in the pool all afternoon, so I’ll come home and do my beach walk for some more exercise. Then I’ll take a swim in the Gulf.

I’m not sure what I will do with my evening. I have leftovers to dine on for my dinner, so I won’t have to cook. I have some editing work to do on my novel-in-progress, and maybe I’ll visit my timeshare down the street for a dip in the pool.

All right, everyone, I need to get busy, so I will  close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Friday wherever you might be today. And have a great weekend. Keep smiling, friends. 🙂

Pardon me while I rant ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Most people who write me via this website are very nice. They thank me for the photos and thoughts I post and for taking the time to create them. I always appreciate their kind words.

Then there are the jackasses who offer unsolicited criticism of me, my writing and my website. Today some jerk told me I shouldn’t talk about the word count I’ve reached when I’m writing a novel-in-progress. I didn’t bother to respond because talking to people like him is a waste of time. The photos I’ve posted here are the appropriate response to such critics.

I woke to the sound of rain pounding my roof this morning. Then my alarm beeped, but instead of getting up I turned the alarm off and promptly went back to sleep for two hours.

Now I’m up and enjoying a light breakfast. The aroma of brewing coffee wafts through my house and I am feeling quite contented. My only problem is that the rain soaked my newspaper and now I have it drying out on my dining table chairs. 🙁

I have an easy day ahead of me. After breakfast I’ll write new material for a while. I’ll read the paper when it finally dries out, and take care of correspondence. After lunch I’ll get some yard work done, and then I’ll take a two-mile run, here on the island. Since it’s Thursday, I’ll drive into the city around 5:30 PM to spend the evening with one of my oldest friends.

Have a great day, friends. Keep smiling.

Best friends sharing life and a nice Walt Whitman poem ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Every guy in his teens and twenties deserves to have a best friend to share his days with. My best friend’s name was Curtis. I met him when I was thirteen, and we became inseparable. We even roomed together at the University of Florida. Curtis wasn’t gay. Our friendship did not involve sex. We just enjoyed each other’s company, and we loved to laugh.

Two days ago, I posted a photo of two boys on the bow of a sailboat. One boy was holding the other’s waist. You could tell from the photo that the two were best of friends. In response, my friend John sent me the following poem by Walt Whitman who, of course, was gay at a time when homosexuality was verboten. I love Whitman’s poem. Thanks again for sharing, John.

by Walt Whitman

We two boys together clinging,
One the other never leaving,
Up and down the roads going, North and South excursions making,
Power enjoying, elbows stretching, fingers clutching,
Arm’d and fearless, eating, drinking, sleeping, loving,
No law less than ourselves owning, sailing, soldiering, thieving, threatening,
Misers, menials, priests alarming, air breathing, water drinking,
on the turf or the sea beach dancing,
Cities wrenching, ease scorning, statutes mocking, feebleness chasing,
Fulfilling our foray.

I rose at 7:30 AM this morning, and I walked three miles on the beach before the day got too warm. Conditions were still and humid down there, but I enjoyed my walk. A group of dolphins was chasing a pod of bait fish, which was lots of fun to watch.

I took a swim in the Gulf after my walk, and then returned to my house to shower on my patio. I brewed coffee and made a simple breakfast, and then I got to work writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress, now at 30,500 words and chugging right along.

Now it’s 11:15, and I am done writing for the day. In a half-hour or so I’ll have a quick lunch, and then I’ll drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. I’ll hit the supermarket on the way home, and maybe I’ll pick up some fresh fish for my dinner.

Have a great Wednesday, friends. Keep smiling. 🙂

Lover boys getting close; errands afternoon for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I really enjoy photos of two male lovers getting affectionate with each other, especially in public places. When I was a young man I would never dream of kissing my partner in public, but you see it fairly often now, and I think it’s refreshing. Anyway, I’m sharing two “lover boys” photos with you this morning. I like both a lot, do you?

I was up around 7:30 AM today. I took a nice three-mile walk on the beach, and then I took a delightful swim in the Gulf. The water temperature was just right, and there weren’t too many waves. Things were nice and calm. I came home feeling refreshed and ready for the day.

I spent 2-1/2 hours writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress, pretty good stuff, actually, and then I read the newspaper before I fixed myself some lunch.

Now it’s almost one PM and I have much to do this afternoon. Tuesday afternoons are my “get shit done” times, and today I have a load of errands to run. I’ll hit the wine market first, to re-stock my shelf. Then I’ll visit the bank. Next I’ll go to the DMV to renew my driver’s license (Always fun.) and then I have to pick up some window screens I had repaired. I need to hit the office supply store also. So, my poor Honda Element will be chugging around for a while.

When I get back home I’ll take a two-mile run, here on the island, and then my evening is free. I’ll do some editing tonight , working on what I wrote this morning. Then maybe I’ll watch a Netflix movie. Have a nice Tuesday, friends.

Sexy guys and swimming pools; typical Monday in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

In Florida, particularly during the summer months, swimming pools are a big deal. If you’re going to be outdoors during summer, about the only way it’s bearable is to soak in a pool. And if you’re lucky, you’ll have a good-looking guy or two to share the pool with. 😉

I was up at 5:30 this morning, I’m not sure why. But it was too early to do anything, so I stayed in bed and read for 90 minutes until the sun came up. Then I put on my swimsuit and headed for the beach. I walked three miles along the shore and it was nice down there. Very few people were around but there were plenty of seabirds.

I took a nice swim in the Gulf after my walk and the water was a little cooler than usual for July because of all the rain we had yesterday. I returned home feeling refreshed, and after an outdoor shower I fixed breakfast. Then I got busy on my novel-in-progress, which is now approaching 28,000 words.

Since today is Monday, right after lunch I’ll d rive my Element into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and a lap-swimming session. I always enjoy my visits there because, after spending all morning by myself it’s good to talk with some of the regulars I know there.

I don’t really have any plans for my evening. Maybe I’ll share a bottle of red wine with my friend and neighbor, if he’s up to it. And I’ll work on editing the fresh material I wrote this morning. Have a great Monday, everyone. Keep smiling. 🙂

Hot boys on boats; gloomy day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I live on an island on Florida’s Gulf Coast and boats are everywhere in my community. It’s no secret that young guys are fascinated by boating, and they tend to lose their inhibitions when they’re afloat.

The two boys to the left here seem to be enjoying themselves, don’t they? I wonder where that photo was taken, and exactly what sort of relationship those two boys have with each other? Are you think what I’m thinking? 😉

I woke to the sound of rain pounding my roof this morning. I mean it was pouring, and the storm kept on for hours. The rain finally stopped around 10:30 AM, but the sky has remained overcast all day.

Check out Mr. Cutie to the left here. Do you you think he’s enjoying himself on that boat? I’ll bet he his. And I’m enjoying looking at him.

Yummy …..

Well, I took a three-mile walk on the beach around 1:30 this afternoon. There were not many people down there because the sun wasn’t shining. But I enjoyed the walk very much. It was nice to get outdoors. I also took a two-mile run, here on the island, around 3:30, and it was actually pleasant because the air wasn’t too warm.

Now it’s a little past five PM and I am here at home by myself. I bought fresh shrimp at our neighborhood seafood market for tonight’s dinner. I’ll team that was a garden salad for a nice meal. Have a great Sunday, friends.

Beautiful guys with long hair; cloudy and steamy day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

When I was college and law school I wore my hair long; it grew past my shoulder, and I thought it looked pretty good. But it was a pain in the ass to take care of, so when I finished law school and started looking for a job, I had my hair cut short and that’s the way it’s stayed ever since.

I’m putting up photos of two guys with long hair who I think are quite sexy. See the guy in the upper photo? Believe it or not, my first partner, who I lived with for over twenty years, looked just like him. Same hair, facial features and body. Lucky me, eh?

I got up around nine this morning, after spending Friday evening watching baseball on TV at a friend’s house. It was a nice evening, although the Rays lost to Texas 4-3 in extra innings. 🙁

I spent my morning writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress, and after I read the newspaper I made myself some lunch. Now it’s 1:30 PM. Outside the sky is overcast, but conditions are still warm and muggy. 🙁

My ex-partner is coming over this afternoon to do some studying for his bar exam. Tonight we’ll share a pizza and I’ll make a salad, and maybe we’ll go for a swim at my timeshare down the street. I have errands to run this afternoon, and I plan to take a three-mile walk on the beach around 3:30 PM when the breeze normally picks up. I’ll take a dip in the Gulf afterward, which should be nice.

Have a great Saturday, friends, wherever you might be today.
