Since everyone liked this morning’s “beach boy” photos I posted, this evening I thought I’d put up one more that I really like. The guy is slender, with beautiful hair and skin, definitely boyfriend material. I wonder what color his eyes are? I’m guessing chocolate brown, my favorite.
I had a good workout at the YMCA today but didn’t get to swim laps because the pool was too crowded. 🙁 So I drove home and got to work on correspondence.
In just about a half-hour I will drive down the street to attend one of my best friend’s birthday party. There will be food and booze and good company, so I know it will be fun, plus I only have to drive several blocks to get home. Outside it’s windy and warm. Storms are rolling in off the Gulf now and then, part of some weather system.
If you follow this site then you know I live in a beach community on Florida’s Gulf Coast. The shore is only 100 yards from my front door. We have a beautiful sand beach that’s as white as table sugar, and the Gulf water is typically crystal clear. I’m lucky to live here, especially on weekends when boys from the area’s colleges and universities come to the beach to soak up sun and toss a football. Mostly they’re only wearing swim trunks and it makes for pleasant sight-seeing when I take my daily three-mile walk along the shore.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I think the guys in today’s photo posts are pretty amazing, especially Mr. Blue Eyes to the left here. Aye-yi-yi, what a babe …. 😉
I was up at eight AM this morning, and after a quick breakfast I poured myself a mug of coffee and got busy at the keyboard writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress. I wrote for 2-1/2 hours, and now I’m done for the day.
It’s 11:15 AM now, and after I finish this post I’ll do the L.A.Times crossword puzzle before I enjoy lunch. Then I will drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming in the indoor pool. It’s a major part of my exercise regimen and I try to do it three times a week, to keep in shape.
When I’m done at the YMCA I’ll cruise home and spend the rest of my day and evening, here on the island. I have leftover pizza from my takeout dinner I shared with a friend in the city last night. I’ll make myself a garden salad to go with it, and then I won’t have to cook. I have a Netflix DVD to watch if I feel like it, or I may visit my timeshare down the street for a swim in the pool. I like swimming at night, especially if the moon’s somewhat full.
