Tomorrow around noon I will board an airplane to travel to the great State of Maine for a six-day stay at a friend’s lakefront cottage near Greenville. It’s a beautiful spot and Maine, in my opinion is one of our nation’s most beautiful states, eclipsed only by California.
There will four of us on the trip. We’ll do some hiking and exploring, maybe do some kayaking, most certainly do some drinking, and we’ll make ourselves some tasty meals too, plenty of lobster, haddock and fresh local vegetables.
One of the things I like most about Maine is its people. They are so warm and welcoming and always willing to help you if you need it. They are very unpretentious and they cherish their freedoms.
We won’t have Internet or cell phone service where we’re staying, so I won’t be posting till the middle of next week. I hope you guys can surtvive without me.
I love photos of hot-looking guys taking a shower. Streaming water only enhances the beauty of a young man’s flesh. The photos I’m posting here today take me back to my days at the fraternity house at University of Florida, where we gang-showered in a communal bathroom. The sights were nothing less than stellar … 😉
I’m up early this morning, after having a pleasant dinner with my friend at the Thai restaurant. After our meal I drove home and climbed into bed with a book. I was tired and slept like a sack of rocks until 7:30 this morning. Now I’m enjoying a simple breakfast before embarking on the day’s activities. (Boy, this orange juice tastes good.)
I have a dental appointment at ten this morning. It’s a routine checkup and cleaning. Then, right after lunch, I’ll drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. When I return home form the “Y” it’ll be time to pack my suitcase for a trip to Maine I’ll leave for tomorrow morning. I have not done any long distance travel since last Christmas for a variety of reasons, and I am looking forward to this trip immensely. I’ll be staying at a friend’s lakefront cottage about 90 minutes from Bangor, along with three other guys. We’ll do some hiking, some drinking, some joke-telling, and we’ll dine on fresh lobster and haddock. It’ll be nice escaping from the Florida heat.
Normally I prefer a little bit of muscle on a guy I’m dating, but I also have a taste for very slender guys, as long as their shoulders a sufficiently broad.
I think both guys in tonight’s photo posts are very sexy, especially the guy to the left here in his bikini briefs. Yummy ….
After I had lunch this afternoon, I got into my work clothes and spent about ninety minutes cleaning up storm debris in the courtyard of my vacation rental. It was a mess over there but now it looks great again. Of course I must have sweated a gallon of water in the process, but that’s okay.
Around 3:30 PM I took a run, here on the island, and god was it hot. I had to stop running on my return route because I was just too tired, after rising at 6:30 this morning and then doing all that work in the yard.
By the way, I know he’s super skinny, but I still think Mr. Sleep Pants to the left here is hot. He has such beautiful skin.
Well, I’m back in the air conditioning and as soon as I finish this post I’m hitting the shower. Believe me, I need one. Around 6:30 PM I’ll drive into the city to have dinner with a good friend. I love Thai cuisine, so I am looking forward to a tasty meal, and also drinking some Thai beer. 🙂
Okay, folks, that’s all I have to report. I hope you like tonight’s photo posts as much as I do, and have a nice Tuesday evening.
When it comes to young men I prefer guys with dark hair and eyes; that’s just my thing. But I can appreciate the beauty of guys with blond hair and blues eyes too. I mean, who could pass up an evening with Mr. Buns to the left here. He’s quite the beautiful guy, isn’t he? And he looks so sweet as he dozes on his bed sheet in the sunshine.
I woke up around five this morning, and tried to read myself back to sleep, but I failed. Finally, about 6:30 AM I dragged myself out of bed and made myself some breakfast. Then I got busy writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress. I wrote for a couple of hours, then read the newspaper. Then, around eleven, I ran errands in the car: wine market and bank. Now I’m home and about t have myself some lunch.
Here’s another lovely blond guy, this one waist-deep in water. Doesn’t he have a great smile? And that body. Aye-yi-yi, he’s definitely boyfriend material. 🙂
This afternoon I have some yard work to perform at my property, more storm cleanup mostly. It’s a warm day so I’ll be wearing my broad-brimmed straw hat to help keep me cool. Around four PM I’ll take a two-mile run, here on the island, as part of my exercise regimen.
Tonight, around 6:30 PM I will drive into the city to have dinner at a Thai restaurant with a good friend who lives close to the restaurant right now. I always enjoy his company and the food in the restaurant is very good.
All right, everyone, I need to prepare my lunch, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a very pleasant Tuesday, wherever you might be today. Keeping smiling. 🙂
Most selfies are not interesting. Why do I want to see want brand of toothpaste is resting on your bathroom vanity? But every so often I’ll come across a a selfie I find appealing, and then I’ll share it with you guys. I think both boys in today’s photo posts are sexy as hell. Do you agree?
I had a friend over for wine and dinner last night, and then I watched a little football before hitting the bed and reading for an hour.
This morning I woke at seven, but didn’t get out of bed until around 8:30. I wrote fresh material for my novel-in-progress for a while. Then I read the newspaper and worked the L.A. Times crossword puzzle. Now it’s 11:30 AM and soon I’ll fix myself a light lunch. Then I’m off to the YMCA for a workout and a lap-swimming session in the indoor pool. I skipped going to the Y last Friday, so I’m looking forward to hitting the gym today and getting back to my exercise regimen.
I don’t really have any plans for my evening, other than spending a little time on my observation deck with a bottle of beer and my I-Pod.
All right, everyone, I have a few chores to perform before lunch, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Monday.
I love photos of gay couples getting affectionate with each other, whether in private or public. When I was a young man public displays of affection between men was unheard of, except inside gay bars, but now you see guys holding hands and kissing all the time. I think it’s great. 🙂
It past four PM as I write these words and it’s been a quiet day so far. I read the Sunday newspaper form cover to cover. Lots of interesting stuff to learn about and lots of stories about how people dealt with last week’s hurricane.
My ex-partner came by this afternoon to watch a little football and also share some quiet time in my bedroom, which was nice. Now he’s gone and I’m by myself. I have some work to do in the writing department and I’ll make myself a nice dinner to enjoy while I watch more football. I may spend a little time up on my observation deck later on when it’s cooler outside.
Listen, I want to thank all of you who wrote me to express concern for my safety during and after the hurricane. I feel so lucky that my home was not damaged in the least, since I only live 100 yards from the Gulf of Mexico. Aside from a lot of tree debris I had to clean up, I squeaked by unscathed.
All right, everyone, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Sunday, wherever you might be. Keeping smiling. 🙂
Have a look at the guy to the left here. Now, if he were your boyfriend would you ever let him wear a shirt around the house? Of course you wouldn’t, he’s just too gorgeous walking around with no shirt and his shorts unbuttoned. It’s almost like he’s begging to be manhandled. Aye-yi-yi, I wonder what his name is and where he lives? I’m guessing he’s…Robert from Winnipeg, Canada. He’s never been laid but he thinks about it all the time. Who will be his first?
I was up in the wee hours this morning, wide awake and restless. So I made myself a drink and I did some editing on my novel-in-progress. Around four AM I went back to bed and then I slept until ten AM.
Now it’s about 1:30 PM on Saturday and I have not done much productive. I read the newspaper and did the L.A. Times crossword puzzle, and that’s about it. Hey, it’s Saturday, so laziness is okay.
All right, now have a look at Mr. Auburn Hair to the left here. He was born to live shirtless, in my opinion. Definitely boyfriend material, no doubt about it.
So, what in store for the rest of my day? Not a whole lot. I have some housework to do and I will take a two-mile run around four PM. My Florida Gators will play football against Kentucky at 7:30 tonight and I will certainly be watching. Beyond that I don’t have much planned and that’s okay.
Oh, someone asked me what my novel-in-progress is all about, and I tried to explain that it’s complicated. My main character is a college freshman in the 1969-70 school year. He and his roommate fall in love but there are multiple complications, including mental illness, disparity in family wealth, and a separate love interest who keeps interrupting things. Does that make any sense?
There’s something about a young guy wearing his ball cap backward that gets my juices flowing, and I’m not sure why, but I sure like the way both guys in tonight’s photo posts look in their caps.
The lad to the left here doesn’t look all that happy, does he? Did he just have an argument with his boyfriend? Or is he a hustler sizing up a john on the street?
I had an easy day, actually. I slept in late after staying up way too late last night. I decided to skip my normal Friday workout at the YMCA, so I took a three-mile walk on the beach for some exercise.
Check out Mr. Sunglasses to the left here. Does he have an amazing body or not? I could follow him around all day …. 😉
I had plans for this evening, but those just changed and now I’m at loose ends, but that’s okay. I have some editing work to do and a Netflix movie to watch. I’ll make some stir-fried chicken over pasta for my dinner and maybe tonight I’ll get to bed at a reasonable hour.
Oh, someone just asked me how my love life is going since my breakup with my ex-partner six months ago. Well, I’ve had some interesting dates in recent months, but I have not found anyone I would consider forming a relationship with, so my love life, you could say, is a work-in-progress. It’s okay because I’m not ready to rush into another LTR. I’ll take my time and be patient.
All right, everyone, I need to get on with my evening, so I will wish all of you a wonderful Friday night, wherever you might be. Keep smiling. 🙂
I have always believed that we aren’t meant to live alone. Each of us deserves a companion we can share life with, and one of the joys of having a partner is waking up next to him in your bed each morning. If you’re lucky you’ll enjoy a little snuggle time before starting the rest of your day, or maybe even something more than snuggling. You know, morning sex can be very special. 😉
What do you think of Mr. Black Undies to the left here? Would you like t wake up next to him tomorrow morning? Of course you would. 🙂
My sleep clock went all out of whack last night and this morning. I stayed up way too late last night–I couldn’t go to sleep–and then I slept in way too late this morning, so my whole day’s going to get screwed up. Plus my right shoulder is sore for some reason, and I’m not sure I should go to the gym today. Maybe I’ll take a three-mile walk on the beach for exercise instead.
If you follow this website then you know I adore good black-and-white photography, and at least once a week I like to post two of my favorites. The photo to the left has a special meaning to me because the young man in the photo looks exactly like one of my college fraternity brothers who I developed a deep crush on my second year at the university. His name was Jerry and I saw him every day because we both lived in the fraternity house. Jerry had cola-colored eyes, a dazzling smile, and a tall, athletic body. He was also very quiet and shy and no, I never had sex with him. 🙁
I wonder where Jerry is today?
This second photo reminds me very much of a young man I met in Berlin, Germany one summer when I lived there for three months. He lived with me for two very enjoyable weeks. What a beautiful guy …. 😉
I had a great time dining on barbecue and then attending the Rays v. Cubs game. The Rays won the game 8-2, and I got to spend eight innings gazing at Kris Bryant’s rear end. What a hot guy ….
Because I got up so early yesterday, I ended up sleeping this morning until ten AM, so I got a late start on the day. But that’s okay. I don’t have much on my plate today, other than some minor housework and maybe a trip to the shopping mall to buy a new pair of dress pants. I detest clothes shopping but I need a new pair of pants and I know just what I want so it should not take too long. Around four PM I’ll take a two-mile run, here on the island, and then around 5:30 PM I’ll drive into the city to share my evening with a good friend.
