Beautiful twinks day; gloomy morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

There’s no denying the beauty of certain boys in their early-to-mid-teens. Of course, they aren’t legal to touch, and that’s as it should be. But we can still admire them and try to imagine how handsome they’ll be when they reach the age eighteen.

The lad you see to the left here is Aaron Carter, who had to be one of the most beautiful twinks in the world when this photo was taken. Sadly, as he grew older he abused drugs and didn’t take care of himself, and now he looks terrible. 🙁

Well, my ex-partner spent the night here last night. We watched two football games which were both disappointments. My Florida Gators lost to Michigan and FSU lost to Alabama. So it was a grim day football-wise. But I cooked a nice meal and we enjoyed each other’s company, so all was not lost.

Now it’s around noon on Sunday and outside the sky is overcast and the air is damp. I have a feeling we’re in for some rain this afternoon, which is okay by me. The rain keeps things cool.

Oh, the boy to the left here posted several photos of himself a few years back, some of them quite explicit. I have no idea who he is but I suspect he’s Irish, just by his coloring. Anyway, I imagine he’s since blossomed into a handsome young man. I hope he found himself a nice boyfriend. 🙂

I don’t have a lot planned for my afternoon, but this evening my neighbors are throwing a pot-luck dinner party, which is bound to be fun. Everyone brings food and drink and we all catch up on one another’s lives. And I don’t have to drive anywhere to participate. My contribution to the party will be a bowl of shrimp which are peeled and ready to eat, along with cocktail sauce with horseradish in it. I predict the shrimp will disappear in about fifteen minutes. 😉

Since I got all my yard work and household chores completed yesterday, I don’t have much to do this afternoon, other than editing my novel-in-progress. Have a nice Sunday, everyone.
