I love photos of gay couples getting affectionate with each other, whether in private or public. When I was a young man public displays of affection between men was unheard of, except inside gay bars, but now you see guys holding hands and kissing all the time. I think it’s great. 🙂
It past four PM as I write these words and it’s been a quiet day so far. I read the Sunday newspaper form cover to cover. Lots of interesting stuff to learn about and lots of stories about how people dealt with last week’s hurricane.
My ex-partner came by this afternoon to watch a little football and also share some quiet time in my bedroom, which was nice. Now he’s gone and I’m by myself. I have some work to do in the writing department and I’ll make myself a nice dinner to enjoy while I watch more football. I may spend a little time up on my observation deck later on when it’s cooler outside.
Listen, I want to thank all of you who wrote me to express concern for my safety during and after the hurricane. I feel so lucky that my home was not damaged in the least, since I only live 100 yards from the Gulf of Mexico. Aside from a lot of tree debris I had to clean up, I squeaked by unscathed.
All right, everyone, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Sunday, wherever you might be. Keeping smiling. 🙂
