I just returned from a trip to North Carolina where I spent four days with a couple from Ft. Lauderdale.
The husband in the couple was my best friend from middle school all the way through college. We were inseparable during those years. In middle school and high school we lived in a beach community and we spent considerable time roaming the shore and surfing at a sandbar close to my house. The photos I’m posting here this morning remind me of those days.
I was up early this morning, since a demolition crew is tearing down the house next door to me. There’s a giant steam shovel eating up portions of the house and dumping the rubble into dump trucks that haul the stuff away. It’s a noisy situation but it should be over today and then we’ll return to normal.
I spent 2-1/2 hours writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress, which has reached 60,000 words and I’m still not close to finishing it. Now it’s well past eleven AM and right after I finish this post I’ll get busy on fixing my lunch. I have a doctor’s appointment for my usual 6-month checkup and then I’m having a friend over for dinner again tonight.
All right, friends, I need to get busy so I will wish all of you a wonderful Tuesday, wherever you might be right now. Keep smiling. 🙂
Since everyone enjoyed the “guys in beanies” photos I posted here this morning I decided to post two more of my favorites tonight. The guy to the left here is the same guy who is naked and dropping his towel in the little video clip that appears in the sidebar on this page. Sexy, eh?
I had an excellent workout and lap-swimming session this afternoon at the YMCA, and after running a few errands I came home. The wind has died down now and the sun is shining, but the temperature’s only around 60 degrees F. It’s going to be a cool night, but that’s okay. I just lit my gas fireplace.
After our endless summers here in Florida it feels so good to open up windows and doors and enjoy the cool and dry air. Plus I get to use my fireplace. 🙂
Check out Mr. Gorgeous to the left here. He’s so pretty he’s almost androgynous. I wonder where he lives and what his name is? I’m guessing he’s named Sean and he lives in Peoria, IL. He has a boyfriend and the two of them have discussed marriage, but they’re not sure how their parents will react. H-m-m-m ….
I’m having a good friend and neighbor over for a fish dinner tonight: baked grouper, twice-baked potatoes and green beans. Sounds good doesn’t it?
All right, everyone, I need to get busy so I will close this post by wishing all of you a lovely Monday night, wherever you might be. And if you own a beanie, by all means put it on. 🙂
I like the way beanies look on certain guys. They’re both practical and whimsical and they look especially sexy when the guy’s not wearing a shirt, like the two appearing in today’s photo posts. I thin that’s a Wisconsin Badgers beanie on the boy to the left. I wonder what a flight to Madison costs? 😉
I woke to a chilly morning today. This is our first cold weather since last March and it feels kind of invigorating. There’s a strong breeze blowing too, so maybe I’ll break out my beanie this evening. 🙂
Check out Mr. Slender to the left here. Doesn’t he look sexy in his beanie, and I like the way he’s toying with the drawstring on his boardshorts. Yummy ….
Today will be a typical Monday for me, now that I’m home from North Carolina. I spent my morning writing new material for my novel-in-progress, and after I finish this post it’ll be time for lunch. After lunch I’ll drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. I’ll pick up some fresh fish for my dinner tonight, and then I’ll head home to do some editing on what I wrote this morning. I’m not sure what I’ll do with my evening, but if the wind lets up maybe a visit to the hot tub at my timeshare will be in order. Maybe a stint in the sauna would be pleasant too.
Have a nice Monday, friends, wherever you might be. And keep smiling. 🙂
There’s nothing quite as becoming on an attractive young man that a black Speedo swimsuit. The suit is very revealing, but still lives a little to the imagination. Don’t you think the guys in today’s photo posts look great in theirs?
Well, I spent four nights and three full days with my friends in their mountainside home outside of Asheville, NC, and what a nice time it was.
We hiked to some beautiful waterfalls, dined on southern cuisine, cooked some ourselves, and sat around their fireplace at night, drinking wine until the wee hours. It was to good to see them both. They’re a straight couple but totally accepting of my sexuality. We talked on a very personal level about what’s gone on in my life this year, especially about my breakup with my partner of seven years. We also visited the Sierra Nevada brewery outside of town, which is one hell of a facility with great beer and good food.
I flew home around noon today, and now I’m unpacked and ready for a relaxing evening in my home. Outside it’s actually quite cool (60 degrees F) and windy. I might even turn on my gas fireplace tonight. 🙂
If you follow this site then you know I’m a huge fan of the male rear end. There’s nothing sexier than a pair of firm, rounded and smooth butt cheeks. They almost beg you to squeeze them, don’t they?
Now, what do you suppose is going on with our friend here to the left? Why is he running around in the woods with no pants on? Who knows, but he sure has a fine pair of cheeks, doesn’t he?
I’m up super early this morning, after calling it an early night last night. I wanted to be fresh for my travels today.
As mentioned in a previous post, early this afternoon I will fly up to Asheville, NC to spend four days and nights with a friend and his wife at their vacation home. The husband was my best friend from middle school all the way through college.
Um-m-m, have a look at this guy to the left. What an amazing pair of butt cheeks. If he was my boyfriend he’d never wear pants around the house so I could pat his rear any time I wanted to. Yummy …. 😉
Back to Asheville …. It’s going to be pretty chilly up there, especially today, which will be a nice change from the Florida heat. I’ll pack warm clothing so I will be prepared. I hope to do some hiking in the countryside. We’ll visit a few craft breweries and dine on tasty barbecue that NC is famous for. But mostly we’ll catch up on one another’s lives and most certainly will enjoy a lot of laughter, as my friend has a great sense of humor.
I’m not taking my laptop, so I won’t be posting on this site again until Sunday afternoon. Can all of you survive four days without me? Look, take the time to read some of the free fiction offered on this site, or buy a Delacroix book to read. I’ll be back before you know it.
I’m posting two of my all-time favorite photos of of beautiful guys wearing ball caps. I mean, have a look at Mr. Abs to the left here. How would you like to share that hot tub with him for an hour or so. Hell, I’d even supply the beer and chips. 😉
I spent a quiet day, here on the island, getting some chores done in my yard and fertilizing more plants. Then I took a three-mile walk on the beach, which was beautiful. A cool front entered Florida this morning and the temperature today never went above 85 degrees F. The sun was shining and a nice breeze blew. Heavenly …. 🙂
When I got home I took care of laundry and watering plants, and I checked in for tomorrow’s flight online. I already have my boarding pass printed and I’m all set to go.
Now check out Mr. Slender to the left here. I know he’s not a beefcake like the guy in the upper photo but I still think he’s sexy as hell. I wonder if he’s a good kisser?
I just returned from taking a two-mile run, here in the island, and in just a few minutes I’ll hop into the shower. Then I’ll drive into the city to spend a few hours with my oldest friend in the world. We’ll drink a few beers and talk about life, and then we’ll get some takeout for our dinner. We normally do this on Thursdays, but since I’ll be in North Carolina on Thursday we moved our gathering to tonight.
It’s strange how water on a young man’s skin and hair can make him even more appealing, but it’s true. Okay, the guy to the left here is super skinny, but I still think he’s pretty damned sexy, especially with that droplet hanging from his chin.
Well, my birthday was quite uneventful yesterday, but that’s okay. When you’re 66 years old you’re just grateful to be alive and healthy, and I sure did enjoy my $20 bottle of white wine. I had a nice little dinner and enjoyed messages and phone calls from friends and loved ones.
Now, check out Mr. Soaked to the left here. He’s a handsome guy for sure, and the fact he’s drenched only makes him more appealing. Why is that?
Today will be an easy one for me. I have work to do in the editing department and correspondence to tend to. I need to run a load of laundry in preparation for my trip to North Carolina that I will commence tomorrow afternoon. I have some yard work I need to take care of, and sometimes this afternoon, around four PM, I’ll take a two-mile run, here on the island.
I have no idea what I will do with my evening today, but I may drive into the city too share dinner with a friend.
All right, everyone, I need to get busy, so I will wish all of you a pleasant Tuesday, wherever you might be today. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂
You know it’s hard to find a garment that flatters a young man’s physique better than a Speedo swimsuit. Don’t the guys in this evening’s photo posts look great in theirs?
Well, I’m just home after working out at the YMCA, visiting Home Depot, and then hitting the supermarket. Since today’s my birthday I’m treating myself to a twenty dollar bottle of California Sauvignon blanc to enjoy tonight. No birthday party for me this year, but I think I may have dinner our with a good friend tonight. I’m okay with that.
Outside it’s pouring down rain, which is actually good. Conditions have been very dry here lately and the rain will help all the shrubs in my yard.
And how do you like Mr. White Speedo to the left here? Nice muscles, eh? I’d attend his swim meet any day. 😉
Lately the number of people visiting this website has steadily increased. Yesterday I had 3,200 visitors, which is pretty remarkable, considering last year I was averaging about 1,500 visits per day. Thanks to all of you who take the time to stop by here each day, and thanks for all the kind messages I receive on a regular basis from readers.
All right, it’s time for me to crack open a cold beer and begin my birthday celebration. So I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Monday evening. And if you own a Speedo, you could always put it on, take a selfie, and send it to me as a birthday gift. 🙂
It’s my 66th birthday today, and while getting old is not that much fun, I feel grateful that I am still here. After all, I have lost several loved ones in recent years, but I still soldier on despite the way I abused my body with alcohol and drugs in my youth. I’m healthy as a horse and I still enjoy life.
To be honest, though, 2017 has been the worst year of my life since I was in my early teens because of my breakup with my partner of seven years. I’ve felt depressed and lonely so many days of this year, but I am determined to restore my spirits with the passage of time. I’m not the sort to feel sorry for myself.
I treated myself to some extra sleep this morning, which I needed after attending a very nice wedding yesterday. I don’t normally drink alcohol before five PM, but I did yesterday and I was feeling it this morning.
Now it’s past 11:30 AM and I drinking my third cup of coffee in an attempt to get myself in gear. Pretty son I will make myself a simple lunch, and then I’ll drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and a lap-swimming session. I guess I could take a day off from exercising, but I actually enjoy my visits to the “Y” and the way I feel after my exercise regimen.
Believe it or not I have not plans for my birthday evening, but maybe I’ll visit my timeshare down the street for a swim in the pool and a soak in the hot tub. It’s a warm day, here on the island, so a swim this evening might feel good.
All right, everyone, I need to get active, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Monday, wherever you might be today. And keep smiling. It’s important. 🙂
There’s a park about ten blocks from me with two full-size basketball courts. Sometimes I’ll ride my bike down there to watch the boys play a pickup game, and the sights are often stellar, especially when the shirts come off.
Do you find the guys in today’s photo posts as appealing as I do? Mr. Shirtless to the left here has a nice lean body and a turned-up nose. Yummy …. 😉
It’s another nice fall day, here in central Florida, and that’s good because in just about an hour I will atted an outdoor wedding at a county park not far from my home. A friend of mine is getting married. We have known each other since grade school. (And that was a while back.)
*** Update: I could not finish this post before I had to leave for the wedding, so I am finishing it now.
Mr. Blondie to the left here makes my mouth water. What a beautiful guy ….
Well, I have just returned from the wedding and reception, which were both wonderful. The wedding was held at a beach not far from me. It was all very relaxed and informal. Lots of laughs. The reception was held at a yacht club about 30 miles from me and I drove down there with another friend I have known since grade school. The reception was well done: endless booze, live music, and a nice buffet. So many of my oldest friends were there and I truly enjoyed myself. It’s kind of funny attending a wedding when you’re in your mid-60’s and so are the bride and groom.
I’m home now, with a pretty good alcohol buzz on and absolutely nothing planned for my evening. I ate enough at the reception that I won’t need to have dinner tonight, so I’ll just nosh on something from my fridge. Have a nice Sunday evening, friends.
