If you follow this website then you know I like good quality black-and-white photography, and I thought I’d share two of my favorites this evening.
I like the photo to the left because the guy looks exactly like I did when I was in college: tall, with long sandy hair and a slender body. I like to think I looked pretty good back then, but I don’t wear my hair long these days (Too much trouble.) and I’m not quite as slim as I used to be. 🙁
Well, this afternoon I tackled the task of preparing for removal of my existing fencing and replacing it with new, PVC fence. The old fence is 13 years old and falling apart. First I had to cut away all the jasmine vines that were growing on the fence of my main patio. Then I had to cut back bushes from the old fence so the bushes don’t get in the installer’s way. I had to detach various items that were screwed to the old fence, and then I had to move things like tools and patio furniture to they didn’t get in the way. The job took most of the afternoon and now I’m bushed.
Do you like the photo to the left as much as I do? I like it because the young man reminds me of my first partner, who I was with for almost 25 years. He was a beautiful guy with bushy curly hair and a sleek body. Yummy …. 😉
Anyway, I am now showered and dressed and I just cracked open a cold beer. My back’s a little sore but I’m pleased with all the work I got done today. For an old guy I can still labor pretty hard when I need to.
I don’t have any real plans for this evening, other than dining on leftovers and watching a Netflix rental I hope will be a lot more entertaining than Blade Runner.
All right, everyone, I’m going to close this post by wishing all of you a pleasant Wednesday night, wherever you might be. Keep smiling. 🙂
