My second year of college I lived in my fraternity’s house with forty other guys. The house had two floors, each with a bathroom that included sinks, toilets and a gang shower area with about eight nozzles. Every evening the parade would begin: sexy guys cruising down the hallway wearing nothing but a white towel wrapped around their waists. And you’d better believe I never missed shower time each night. (What a slut I was ….) 😉
Well, last night I had a delightful dinner with my friend who helped me with my boat yesterday, and then we went to a movie theater to watch Blade Runner. I’m sad to say it was one of the most boring films I’ve ever watched. The pacing was slower than molasses in January and Ryan Gosling’s acting was wooden. I couldn’t wait for the movie to end. 🙁
I slept in late this morning because I didn’t get home from the movie till 11:30 and then I stayed up until one AM because I wasn’t sleepy. I skipped work on my novel-in-progress and got busy on housework instead. I have all kinds of things I need to get done today. Tomorrow a fence company is installing new fencing on my property and I have all kinds of prep stuff I need to do in advance of their arrival. That will consume a good part of my day. I plan to take a three-mile walk on the beach before lunch, and I’ll take a two-mile run this afternoon after I finish my drudgery work outside. I’m not sure what I’ll do with my evening, but I have a Netflix film to watch so I won’t be bored.
Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.
