A pair of super handsome guys; easy night in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:

You know, it’s just not fair how certain guys are blessed with good looks that are downright stunning. I mean, check out Mr. Plum-Colored Undies to the left here. Who’d pass up a date with him. Answer: no one. 😉

I had a very productive day today. After doing some solid writing this morning, I devoted my afternoon to chores. I tidied up my vacation rental apartment next door so it’s ready for the next renter who arrives Friday. I even washed the windows that were covered with salt spray from the hurricane. I washed my car, inside and out, and now it’s nice and clean. I changed air conditioner filters, and then I took a two-mile run, here on the island. After a shower I went to the supermarket to buy food for tonight’s dinner.

See the guy to the left here? He looks just like a guy my older sister dated when I was in high school. I developed a huge crush on him, which only got worse when he and I shared a hotel bed one night in Ft. Lauderdale. Dan, where are you today?

My friend I’m cooking for called me around noon to say he was feeling much better and wanted to come over for dinner. I’ll grill pork chops over charcoal, and team those with steamed yellow squash and mac & cheese, a delicious combination.

I think we’ll watch a Netflix DVD I got in the mail yesterday, right after dinner, so it should be a nice evening.

All right, everyone, I need to get busy so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Tuesday night. 🙂

Cute boys with freckles; gloomy skies on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I find freckles on a young man’s face utterly charming. Sadly, the freckles tend to fade as a guy reaches his early twenties, but that’s life. I think both guys in today’s photo posts look great. Don’t you?

I was up at eight AM this morning, and right after I fixed breakfast I got busy writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress, which involved some Internet research on two subjects: (1) grooming citrus groves, and (2) how to properly muck a horse stall. I had a productive morning and now I’m done writing for the day.

While I was writing this morning the air conditioning tech arrived to put a new fan motor in my compressor, and hopefully the problems I experienced last week will not return.

Outside the sky is overcast and it’s actually somewhat cool for the first time since last May. I have a guest checking into my vacation rental Friday, and right after lunch today I’ll go next door to freshen things up and get the apartment ready for occupancy. The apartment’s already clean but I need to dust the blinds and do other little things like that. I also need to clean up the patio.

Around four PM I will take a two-mile run, here on the island, and then maybe I’ll take advantage of the cool weather to wash my car, inside and out. It really needs a good cleaning after all the road construction going on here.

I may be having a friend over for dinner tonight if he’s feeling up to it. We talked last night and he’s trying to fight off a head cold. So, we’ll see. Have a nice Tuesday, everyone.
