When I was in high school I wore braces on my teeth for three years. I hated the way they looked and also the way they made my mouth feel crowded. I was always getting food stuck in them, and once a month I’d have to see the orthodontist for a painful “adjustment.” God, it was awful.
Anyway, despite the fact our friend to the left here has braces on his teeth I think he is absolutely gorgeous. I love his wavy hair, smooth skin and pretty smile. I wonder what his name is and where he lives? I’m guessing he’s…Eric from Marietta, GA. He likes to skateboard and play video games and his best friend has a secret crush on him. Who could blame his friend? 🙂
Last week we went off Daylight Savings Time, and ever since my body clock’s been screwed up. I keep thinking it’s an hour later than it is. Last night I went to bed around ten because I was tired. Then I woke this morning at 6:30. Arghhh …..
After I got up and made breakfast, I got busy at the keyboard writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress. When I was done writing I read the newspaper and worked a crossword puzzle. But the time was only 10:30 AM. What to do next?
I went for a three-mile walk, here on the island, this time on the sidewalks rather than the beach. It was really nice outside: sunny, still and not too warm. I spent a lot of my walking time thinking about my personal life and where it’s headed, now that I have been single for seven months. I’m not sure what awaits my in my future, but I am not giving up on finding another partner.
It’s almost time for lunch now, and right after I eat I will visit the supermarket to stock my fridge and cupboards. Then I’ll do some housework that needs done. Tonight I’ll spend the evening with my friend in the city, a Thursday routine I always enjoy. Have a nice Thursday, friends.
