About twenty years ago I visited the Indiana University campus in Bloomington, IN, but I don’t remember the boys there being as cute as the two in today’s photo posts. I guess things have changed for the better at IU. I wonder what a plane flight to Bloomington costs these days? 😉
I stayed up way too late last night, watching the returns in the Alabama senate race. It looks like the Democrat won by a narrow margin, which is nothing short of a miracle. Maybe sanity is returning to the American electorate after their idiot selection of Donald Trump to serve as president. There may be hope for our country yet, despite all of Trump’s bumbling over the past eleven months.
Outside this morning it’s cool (53 degrees F) and sunny, with only a light breeze. The high today will only reach 60 degrees F.
I don’t have a whole lot on my plate for today, other than doing some editing on my novel-in-progress this morning. After lunch I will drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout, then I’ll come home an d take a three-mile walk for additional exercise since the pool at the YMCA is closed right now. I’m having dinner with a friend at a nice Italian restaurant this evening, which I am looking forward to, and then I’ll come home and try to call it an early night. I don’t like sleeping in so late in the morning, and I need to get back to my usual schedule.
Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.
