If you follow this site then you know how much I adore good black-and-white photography, especially when a photo’s subject is a handsome young man. I’m posting two of my favorites this morning. The guy to the left here reminds me very much of a 20 year-old I befriended in Berlin about ten years ago. He lived with me for a couple of weeks, and he was a very passionate young man. I wonder where he is today?
Well, I woke to the sound of chain saws around eight this morning. Neighbors were having some trees cut down and it sounded like a swarm of bees had invaded my bedroom. Ugh …
But the sun is shining this morning, for the first time in two days, and that makes all the difference in my attitude. In central Florida we get depressed when we don’t have sunshine, you see. 🙂
Despite the sunshine it’s pretty damned cold outside, about 48 degrees F at present, and not expected to get much warmer. At least the northeast winds stopped blowing, so I may be able to run two miles this afternoon.
I don’t have too much on my plate for today, other than doing some editing, hitting the wine market, and doing some housecleaning. I’ll take my run around four PM, and then around 5:30 PM I’ll drive into the city to spend the evening with my old friend who’s somewhat housebound. We’ll drink a few beers and get some takeout for dinner.
All right, friends, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Thursday, wherever you might be. Keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂
