I felt restless this evening and all my friends were either working or already had plans, so I decided to strike out on my own. I drove into downtown St. Petersburg to dine on Spanish tapas and then see a movie I’ve wanted to view for a while, a film titled Love, Simon.
Love, Simon is the story of a high school senior named Simon who’s struggling with his gay sexual orientation and gets publicly outed on his school’s website, much to the surprise of his friends and family. I enjoyed the film, and Nick Robinson, the actor portraying Simon, did a good job. (He’s cute, too.)
Love, Simon is one of two recently-released films focusing on teenage boys confronting their gay sexual orientation. The other was Call Me By Your Name, starring Timothee Chalamet. In the upper photo in this post, both Nick and Timothee appear. Cute guys, eh? And I understand they are both straight.
Good for them …. 🙂
Anyway, I just got home from the movie and it’s only 10:30 PM, so I guess I will stay up for a while. I have a nice bottle of California Sauvignon blanc in the fridge and some good music to listen to, so I’m good. Have a nice Friday night, friends.
You never see many guys wearing beanies in Florida because the weather never gets cold enough to warrant wearing one. But I think a beanie on the right kind of guy is a pretty sexy look.
The guy to the left is the same one featured in the sidebar to the right. If you click on that button you’ll get to see some very sexy video clips of this guy. Yummy ….. 😉
I attended a neighborhood party last night that turned out to be a lot of fun. About twenty people were there and everyone brought food and wine. The party was held outdoors since the weather was so nice, and I had a great time. Afterward, I sat on my back porch and listened to my patio fountain gurgle, a nice way to end the evening.
Things seem terribly quiet here this morning, and there’s a reason for that. My winter tenants left for Washington, DC around seven AM. They had been next door since December first, and I always feel a little sad when they depart. Another couple from Nova Scotia will rent the apartment starting April 4th, and this weekend I’ll do some cleaning over there in preparation for their arrival.
It’s yet another beautiful day, here on the island: sunny, still and about 75 degrees F. In about a half-hour I will prepare my lunch. Then, after I dine, I’ll drive into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming. Tonight I’m thinking about going to see a movie titled Love, Simon. I hear it’s pretty good, and the main character’s a very cute guy. (Hey, cute’s good, right?)
