When I was in college and law school I wore my hair long. It grew past my shoulders and I thought it looked pretty good on me. But it was a pain in the butt to take care of, and once I graduated I had it cut short. It has remained that way ever since.
Just the same, I think long hair looks really good on certain guys, like the two who appear in this morning’s photo posts. The boy to the left reminds me of a good friend I had, back in college. His name was Steve and we spent much time together. We stayed in touch our entire lives and saw each other maybe once a month. But sadly, Steve died a few years ago. He didn’t take care of his health and eventually paid the price for it. I miss him. 🙁
I woke around eight this morning, after going to bed pretty early last night. I worked on a novel I’m editing, and then took care of correspondence. I read the morning newspaper and solved the L.A. Times crossword puzzle, and now it’s almost eleven AM.
It’s a beautiful day outside: sunny, still and about 76 degrees F. In just a few minutes I’ll put on my tennis shoes and then I’ll take a three mile walk, here on the island, for a little exercise. I’m not sure if I’ll get to visit the YMCA today because I have seasonal renters coming in today and they haven’t yet told me when they will arrive. 🙁
Have a nice Wednesday, friends.
