I love black-and-white photography when it’s good quality, and at least once a week I like to share some of my favorites with all of you out there.
I think the photo to the left is quite special. Of course, the young man is beautiful with his almost androgynous facial features and his mop of curly hair. But I like the way his limbs are posed and also the puzzled expression on his face, as if he’s thinking, “Why would someone want to take a picture of me right here?”
Well …. 😉
I spent a quiet night at home Friday, watching a gay-themed movie that wasn’t very good, and then spending a little time on my back porch, just listening to my patio fountain tinkle and enjoying the cool air.
Yes, I said cool air. A cool front crept into Florida yesterday, which doesn’t mean it’s chilly. Instead it means it’s not sweltering hot today and the humidity has dropped considerably. It’s actually pleasant outside, for the first time since May. This is the time of year I always look forward to, when summer finally exits central Florida and we can enjoy the outdoors without sweating.
In a couple of hours I’ll drive over to a friend’s house to watch my Florida Gators play Vanderbilt. I’m bringing some Subway sandwiches for our lunch and during halftime we’ll take a swim in my friend’s pool. It should be fun.
I don’t really have anything planned for this evening, and that’s okay. Last weekend I spent three nights in Toronto, running around the city and doing all sorts of things, so a quiet weekend right now is fine with me. Have a nice Saturday, friends.
