I have no idea who Mr. Selfie to the left here is or where he lives, but I wish he dwelt next door to me. What a hot boy: great hair and skin, great athletic body. Perfect boyfriend material. 😉
Well, I had an absolute blast at my friends’ Christmas boat parade party. The weather was perfect on the lake–70 degrees, dry and still. We motored over to a waterfront marina and bar-restaurant, where about 30 boats were docked, all of them festooned in lights and inflatable Christmas characters. My friends and their guests brought tons of tasty food, and the beer and wine flowed.
By the time we returned to my friends’ home, I’m afraid I was more than tipsy, and I only lasted an hour or so before I hit the bed. I ended up sleeping until 9:30 this morning, and woke up hangover free. I shared a nice breakfast with my friends, then drove the 45 miles back to my island home. Thankfully, traffic was light and I made the trip in 50 minutes. 🙂
It’s a gloomy afternoon, here on the island. The sky is overcast and a light rain is falling, but I guess I’ll drag my butt out the door around three PM to take a two-mile run, since there’s no wind blowing and it’s not even chilly out there.
I don’t have much planned for the rest of my day, other than watching a little football and baking a chicken breast for dinner.
All right, everyone, I hope you enjoyed the photos of Mr. Selfie, (God, he’s cute.) and I hope wherever you are today you’re enjoying this holiday season as much as I am. And keep a smile on your face, it’s important.
