Guys losing their briefs; rainy morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

When I was in high school, all the boys were required to take P.E., and we were also required to shower at the end of every class, in gang showers without a bit of privacy. Wicked little queer that I was, I always looked forward to watching my classmates peel their white briefs (Weย allย wore white briefs back then.) down their legs in preparation for their showers, and today’s photo posts take me right back to those days. Ah-h-h, memories …. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well, I attended our island’s annual Christmas bonfire last night, and what fun it was. There must’ve been 400 people there, and fifty different Christmas cookie offerings on several folding picnic tables. A guy with a guitar and amplifier played Christmas tunes, and we even had a visit from Santa Claus. The weather was perfect–about 70 degrees and still, and the bonfire was huge.

After the bonfire, I came home to dine on a leftover cheeseburger from my Wednesday night dinner party, and then I lit my fireplace in the living room, so I could sit in my easy chair and gaze at my Christmas tree while Christmas music played on the stereo system. ๐Ÿ™‚

I slept in late this morning, and woke to the sound of rain drumming my roof. It’s pouring like hell out there, and the storms are supposed to increase in intensity as the day progresses. Since today is Friday, right after lunch I will climb into my Honda Element and cruise into the city to visit the YMCA for a workout and lap-swimming session. I’ll run an errand or two on my way home, and then, right around 5:30 PM, I’ll drive back to the city to spend the evening with my oldest friend, sitting on his deck and drinking a few beers. Well get takeout for our dinner, and then I’l drive back to my island home around nine PM.

Okay, maybe that doesn’t sound like a terribly exciting day to some people, but it suits me just fine.

All right, everyone, I need to get busy, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a wonderful Friday, wherever you might be today. And keep smiling, it’s important. ๐Ÿ™‚
