When I was still practicing law, my work often took me to the San Francisco Bay area, and whenever I went there I always visited a particular gay bar on Polk Street, one patronized by young Asian men who had a taste for middle-aged Anglo men. More than once , I made the acquaintance of Asian guys who were happy to visit my hotel for a couple of hours. I always found these guys uniquely beautiful, with their smooth skin, dark eyes and thick hair. How come we don’t have such a bar in my city today?
Because of the storm front lashing our area last night, I stayed home and watched a Netflix rental, a film titled Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. It was beautifully-acted, with a great screenplay, and it depicts life in a small town so accurately. I would certainly recommend it for your viewing.
Now it’s almost noon, and I am done writing for the day. Just after lunch, I will put together a shopping list for my Christmas cookie needs, and then I will hit the supermarket to purchase things like milk, eggs, flour, baking sticks, sugar and spices. I had planned on baking tonight, but since I had to cancel my visit to my friend in the city last night, I’m spending this evening with him. It’s okay, I can bake tomorrow instead.
All right, everyone, I need to fix my lunch, so I will close this post by wishing all of you a very happy Saturday. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂
