Two more sexy guys in beanies; nice evening in store for Martin ….

Hi, friends and readers:It’s chilly tonight on the island, perfect weather for a beanie, but if I put mine on I wouldn’t look nearly as good as Mr. Wisconsin Badgers to the left here. What a great body, and such smooth skin. And I like the way his sweatpants are riding low on his hips. Definitely boyfriend material …. 😉

Today, after I took a three-mile walk around 12:30 PM, I dove into a project I’ve put too long. Several years back, I developed leaks in my old roof. My living room ceiling is pine tongue-in-grove paneling stained white, and the leaks caused water stains in certain areas that looked ugly.

I brought a ten-foot ladder into the house and used an electric sander to grind away the water stains. Then I re-stained the sanded areas with diluted white latex paint. Now you can’t even tell there were water stains on the ceiling. Of course, my legs are sore from climbing up and down the ladder, but that’s okay. The job is done. 🙂

In just about fifteen minutes I’ll drive into the city to enjoy the evening with my best friend. It’s always a relaxing experience, and tonight we’ll have a nice fire on his elevated deck. Have a nice Thursday night, friends.

Sexy guys wearing beanies. Will this cold snap never end?

Hi, friends and readers:

I like the look of a beanie on certain young men, and I’m not sure why, but I certainly think the guys in today’s photo posts look great in theirs. Especially since they aren’t wearing much else. 😉

Normally, where I live, you don’t see guys wearing beanies because it never gets too cold in central Florida. But the past ten days the weather on my island has been abnormally cold. The chill continues today, with the high expected to reach 60 degrees F, overcast skies, and a stiff wind out of the north. When will this lousy weather end? 🙁

I spent a quiet evening at home last night, dining on homemade spaghetti I flavored with fresh herbs from my patio. I teamed it with a baby spinach salad, and everything tasted great. Then I lit my fireplace and enjoyed its glow for a while before going to bed with a book.

I slept in a little late this morning, but still got some writing done. I have a load of laundry going, and the house is all straightened up, so I am good. I have some gardening to perform today–planting a few new shrubs in pots and using the leaf blower on my patios. If the wind lets up I will take a two-mile run. If not, I’ll take a walk instead. Right around 5:30 PM I’ll drive into the city to spend the evening with my best friend, and hopefully he’ll have a blaze going in his fire pit.

By the way, do you find the boy to the left here as appealing as I do? He posts selfies all the time, although with the new censorship decreed by Tumblr, we’ll be seeing less of him, which is kind of sad. That’s him in the sidebar to the right, dropping his towel.

All right, friends, I need to get busy, so I will wish all of you a pleasant Thursday, wherever you may be today. Stay warm and keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂

Lover boys, sharing life; more cool weather on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Do you find the photo to the left here as charming as I do? I think it’s so cool how gay weddings have become so common these days, but they still fill me with a sense of pride and awe. Just look at the two guys in the photo. You can tell they are very much in love, can’t you? And they’re so cute.

The weather yesterday afternoon was quite chilly, but I forced myself to climb into my running clothes and jog two miles for exercise. After I showered, I drove into the city, where a friend and I dined on tapas before attending a movie, The Green Book. What a marvelous film: great screenplay and superb acting. The film has a lot of humor and a good deal of poignancy too. It’s a period piece, set in 1962. I was a boy back then and the producers really captured the feel of that era, especially in the Deep South, where I grew up.

Okay, the guys to the left here aren’t wearing tuxes or suits, but I still think the photo is heartwarming. You can tell the young men truly care for each other, can’t you?

It’s another cool and sunny day, here in central Florida. A steady breeze is blowing and the temperature’s around 60 degrees F. I woke at eight this morning, and it wasn’t long before I was at the keyboard, writing fresh material for my novel-in-progress. It’s a lengthy story about hurtful loss and learning to fight for the person you care about most. I love the main characters and the settings–Florida and small-town Indiana.

Now I am through writing for the day, and lunchtime approaches. Right after I dine, I’ll head to the YMCA for a workout in the fitness center, and maybe lap-swimming if I can get a lane in the pool. At this time of year, with all the snowbirds in town, I often can’t swim, which always leaves me feeling less than satisfied. Oh well, if that’s my biggest problem, I’m a lucky guy.

Have a nice Wednesday, everyone. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂

Guys with beautiful butts; another chilly morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

In Martin’s book, there is nothing quite as sexy as a young man with a smooth, rounded and firm pair of butt cheeks. The kind that make you want to give them a squeeze. And don’t the guys in today’s photo posts have amazing rear-ends?

The boy to the left here is Russian porn model Vova, and this photo is certainly several years old. But wasn’t he a lovely lad when it was taken? I wonder where Vova is today?

I spent a quiet evening at home last night, doing some editing and chatting with friends on the phone. I sat by my fireplace for a little bit before retiring around eleven.

This morning, I woke up super early, around 6:30, and I couldn’t go back to sleep. So, I finally got up and brewed a pot of coffee. I ate a quick breakfast, and then I got busy on the day’s writing.

By the way, would you pass up a date with the guy to the left here? I know wouldn’t. If he were my boyfriend, I’d keep him in his birthday suit as often as possible. Aye-yi-yi …. 😉

It’s another chilly day, here on the island. Our high temperature won’t go above 60 degrees F. But the sun is shining and the wind’s not blowing too hard, and at least it’s no three degrees F like it is in the upper Midwest. Those poor folks up there. 🙁

I’ about to go for a three-mile walk, to get some fresh (and chilly) air before I have lunch. I need to visit the supermarket and Home Depot, and I want to take a three-mile run in late afternoon. Then I’ll drive into the city to spend the evening with a good friend. We’ll have dinner at a restaurant and then see a movie at the cineplex downtown.

Have a nice Tuesday, friends, and if it’s cold where you are, snuggle with your boyfriend. He’ll love it and you will too. 🙂

One more cutie with his camera; another chilly night on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Did you enjoy the selfie photos I posted here this morning? Come on, I know you did, so I decided to put up one more of y favorites this evening, for your viewing pleasure. Isn’t he gorgeous? I wonder what his name is and where he lives? I’m guessing he’s Hunter from Boulder, Colorado. He  snowboards and smokes weed, and he likes to fool around with his best friend, Kolton, whenever they can find some privacy. Oh, Hunter, you are such a babe. Thanks for the selfie, and give us more when you’re not busy in the bedroom with Kolton. 😉

It’s going to be another cold night, here on the island, with the temperature dropping into the high 40’s again. It’s okay, I have good heat and my gas fireplace to keep me comfortable, so I will be fine.

Have a nice Monday night, friends.

Cute guys and their cameras; another chilly day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

I know, so many selfies are simply uninteresting, and that’s why I don’t put many up here. Still, whenever I come across a few good ones, I like to share them with all of you. I mean, who would pass up a date with Mr. Backward Ball Cap to the left? Certainly not me. 😉

Weather-wise, yesterday had to be the ugliest day we’ve had in this area in years: cold and windy with nonstop rain all day and night. I worked on some indoor projects that needed done, and also spoke with friends over the phone. I baked a chicken breast for my dinner and watched a dreadful Netflix movie, Mamma Mia, All Over Again. I don’t recommend it, friends.

Here’s another selfie I find quite appealing. What a beautiful young man. He certainly fills out those briefs nicely,  doesn’t he?

It got pretty cold last night, down to the mid-40’s, and it’s still cold this morning, right around 50 degrees F. I stiff breeze is blowing, but at least the sun is shining again. We Floridians need our rays, you know.

I was up at 8:30 this morning, and after a quick breakfast I worked on my novel-in-progress for about two hours. The book is approaching 90,000 words in length, but still has a way to go. I’m not sure exactly how it will end, but I sure like the story and the main characters, Jakub and Jeff.

Since today is Monday, I will visit the YMCA right after lunch, for my usual workout and lap-swimming regimen. On my way home, I will hit the wine market to restock my supply, and then I suspect I will spend the evening by myself, and that’s okay.

Have a wonderful Monday, friends.

Pretty twinks; ugly day on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Ah, pretty twinks… They’re fun to look at, and one can only imagine what they will grow into by the time they come of age. But sadly, they are also untouchable. You can tell the lad to the left here will be a total hunk when he’s eighteen, can’t you?

I woke this morning to the sound of rain drumming my metal roof. It’s been raining ever since, and will continue to do so for the rest of the day. The temperature’s in the mid-50’s as well. What an ugly day, and so unlike central Florida’s typical weather. Of, well, at least I have beer. 😉

I spent yesterday evening with an old friend I’ve know since grade school. We had a drink or two at his home, then drove to a nearby seafood restaurant, where I dined on raw oysters and a shrimp salad with Spanish olives. Yummy ….

Speaking of yummy, do you find the boy to the left as appealing as I do? He’s an Australian fashion model named William Franklyn Miller, and I don’t know much about him, other than he’s pretty damned cute.

I have no idea what I will do with my day, because the nasty weather rules out any form of outdoor activities. No jogging or walking, no bicycling or swimming. But I do have one mission to accomplish this afternoon. I had two paintings re-framed at an art studio, and today I will re-hang them in my bedroom, which will take some effort because they are large pieces and I will have to perform several measurements to be sure they look proper once they are on the wall over my bed. The task might not sound difficult to you, but I’m not good at this sort of thing. But I’ll have plenty of time to get the job done. 🙂

Have a nice Sunday, everyone.

Boys in blue Speedos; gloomy morning on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Nothing flatters a young man’s physique better than a Speedo-style swimsuit, except perhaps for a jock strap. The Speedo covers up body parts we Americans consider unacceptable for public viewing. (Weird, really.) But it still leaves little to the imagination.

I don’t know about you, but I think the guy to the left here looks marvelous in his swimsuit. He has the perfect swimmer’s body: broad shoulders, lanky limbs, nice bulge in the pouch of his suit, and smooth skin. I wonder if he has a boyfriend?

I woke this morning to cloudy skies, a steady wind blowing from the northeast, and a temperature around 55 degrees. Nasty weather by my standards. I did a little editing on my novel-in-progress and took care of correspondence. I perused the newspaper and now I’m creating this post before I sit down to lunch.

Um-m-m-m, is this boy to the left here beautiful, or what? I could watch him lounge on that boogie board all day. 😉

Today is the Gasparilla pirate day in Tampa, but you won’t catch me there. The weather’s lousy and the traffic anywhere near the parade will be horrible. Why don’t they change the date to April when the weather’s always good?

I plan to stay here on the island, where I have several projects to complete. Minor painting tasks, planting new shrubs, leaf-blowing my patios, and house cleaning. I need to practice a new piece on my guitar, also. So, I will stay busy in spite of the crappy weather. And maybe I will take a three-mile walk for some exercise, if the weather doesn’t worsen.

Have a nice Saturday, friends, wherever you might be today. And keep on smiling, it’s important.

Sexy guys in black-and-white; chilly and sunny on the island ….

Hi, friends and readers:

If you follow this site,, then you know I am a huge fan or quality black-and-white photography, and every week I like t share some of my favorite photos with you guys, for your viewing pleasure.

The one to the left here I find quite special. The model is sexy as hell, and I like the way the lighting plays on his face and his athletic body. I like the enigmatic expression on his face too. Surely he must know gay men find him terribly attractive, but he doesn’t seem to mind letting us view his nearly-naked physique. Well, thanks, Mr. Gym Shorts. 😉

I spent a nice evening in the city yesterday, and I arrived back at the island around 9:30 PM. I spent some time exchanging IMs with a friend in Chile, while I sat by my flickering fireplace. I hit the bed with a book around eleven, and it wasn’t long before my eyelids were drooping.

I rose around eight AM this morning, to sunny skies and a temperature outside of 55 degrees. That’s kind of chilly for central Florida, but at least the wind’s not blowing.

By the way, do you find Mr. Phone Booth to the left here as enchanting as I do? If he were my boyfriend he’d dress like that all the time. 😉

It’s 11:15 AM right now, and I’ve just finished writing for the day. After I finish this post I’ll solve today’s L.A. Times crossword puzzle, and then I’ll have leftover salad for my lunch. Since today’s Friday, I will visit the YMCA for my usual workout and lap-swimming session, and then I’ll cruise back to the island in my Element.

Right now, I don’t have anything planned for my Friday evening. Since it’s going to be cool outside, I may build a blaze in my fire pit before I dine on leftovers. Then I’ll likely watch a movie on Netflix streaming. There are so many to choose from it’s hard for me to decide what I want to watch.

Have a great Friday, everyone. And keep smiling, it’s important. 🙂

One more sexy guy at the beach; Martin’s off to the city ….

Hi, friends and readers:

Since I having a beach themed day, here on my site, I decided to put up one more photo of a handsome guy enjoying himself at the shore. Good lord, what a babe. How would you like to rub sunscreen on his back for him. I know would. 😉

Well, I got all my errands run this afternoon. Then I came home and ran two miles, here on the island. A cool breeze was blowing out of the northwest and I wore a long-sleeved t-shirt to help keep me warm.

Now I am freshly-showered and ready for a relaxing evening in the city with my friends. Thankfully the weather is cool enough for a fire on my host’s deck. I imagine tonight we will order pizza and salad for our takeout dinner, which is always tasty from the place we order it. We’ll swp some stories and have a lot of laughs. What fun …. 🙂

Have a great Thursday night, everyone.
